Lovely hotel, very handy for Heathrow airport. Would be nice to have continental breakfast included in the price.

Convenient to Heathrow Airport

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: New feature--free wi-fi! Clean room (even carpet felt clean), quiet (no airplane sounds). Efficient, friendly and cooperative staff.
Cons: Bed had mattress ridges, between which one could find comfortable spots to sleep.
Location: Only wanted overnight place to sleep near Heathrow, so didn't look for things to do.
Someone who just wants to sleep overnight before catching another flight from Heathrow should consider this hotel, with reasonable rates, decent sized room and amenities. Ground transportation is confusing. The airport Information Desk (terminal 5?) tells you about local bus to Arora, which is free from Bus Stop 6 outside airport, and is 4th stop on route (but 2nd one bus stopped at--we would have missed it except a passenger notified us). The nearly adjacent Hotel Reservation desk tells you there's no free bus, just one they sell tickets for (nearly 5 pounds), for which I assume they get commission, as they do for making hotel reservations. The Information Desk also tells you you can call a taxi at a nearby free phone, for taxis costing less than those outside on the street. To return to airport next morning, we took taxi called by the hotel (for 6 pounds less than the price quoted by the taxi we called the previous night--but that may be partly because we were returning to Terminal 3, not Terminal 5).

Better than average airport hotel

Posted Oct 25, 2014
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night. We've stayed at several hotels near Heathrow. Other than poor shower pressure and the ridiculous price of the only available breakfast options, it was better than other comparably priced hotels near Heathrow.

Clean, functional airport hotel

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Helpful front desk staff. Hotel was new and well maintained.
Cons: The rooms are quite small.
Location: There is nothing to do nearby. It is close to Heathrow airport.
This is a basic airport hotel. We had a smooth experience.

Very nice new hotel convenient to Heathrow

Posted Oct 21, 2014
This is a very comfortable hotel with a good restaurant and bar. However there are only four beers including Coors light! You can get back and fourth to Heathrow on the Hotel Hoppa bus for about 8 pounds round trip, but there is a free option on a red London double deck bus which stops right across the road. Per hotel desk: 40 minute trip on the former, 10 minutes on the latter. Query the information people at Heathrow and/or the front desk for boarding places and times for both options.

Close to Heathrow airport

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Undercover parking for 12 pound per night
Cons: No lift to carpark. Heavy bags had to be carried down stairs. Drop on/off parking at front of hotel was full of buses and other cars.
Nothing bad or overly special about out stay here but we were comfortable for the few hours we were there.

NIce hotel, free city bus from London Heathrow

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Proximity to LHR
On line the hotel provides instructions on how to take free city buses between the hotel and LHR. We like this hotel when we have overnight stays at LHR. An Indian food restaurant is about 500 meters west of the hotel. Our experience has been internet is free in the rooms.

Great value in a convenient place.

Only a one night stay but perfect for my needs. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist who made sure I had everything I could possibly want. My 5 am wake up call was on time, so I got the rental car back and then to the airport in great time for my early flight. Would definitely recommend staying here.
