The property was close to the Paddington station, which is what I was looking for. Love the quietness of the location. The staff was very courteous. The building is on the older side, the property seems to be in the process of being renovated. My bathroom seems newer. The rooms were quite small. The double room was tight for 2 small people. I would go back, as it served all my needs.

The staff were very efficient, welcoming, and helpful. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you, however, this hotel is fantastic value.

Initial staff were really polite and helpful. Location was great. Shower head and tv were broken. Walls very thin. I had parked for a hour and my circumstances had changed so I had to leave the hotels parking. The receptionist was hostile, shaking her head at me saying they turned someone away for me to have parking. I offered to pay for the time I was parked but she was extremely rude and didn’t even respond. My guest was shocked at the behaviour too.

Bathroom was like one on a cruise ship and shouldn’t be in use sink plastic was cracked and had no plug - was v small when you sat on the loo my knees touched the door and I’m only 5ft 2. Shower water pressure was v poor and was v crampt toilet was right on top of the shower with no room to move in it - needs to be updated !!! Bedroom was ok would benefit from a couple of bed side lamps as only had 1 main light - TV reception was terrible kept on coming up with a no signal message and had limited channels no BBC1, 2 ,ITV,Chanel 4 or 5.

This is the most basic accommodation you could get, very small and old-fashioned rooms with a closet-sized bathoom/shower shoehorned into it. The staff seemed unable to speak enough English to take basic requests and breakfast was a disappointment. Yes very cheap, but toast which is more than warm bread and clean cups is surely a given? The lady at breakfast (the one who could speak English) got shirty when I politely requested a clean cup and her response was there were no more cups! We didn't bother with breakfast the second day. If you're after literally a base then it's good enough for that. Safe area and not far from the tube.

Room was okay shower door was hanging off when we arrived so had to fix. Toilet roll holder fell off wall, hole in wall in bathroom. Towels were stained aswell. Breakfast was average.

This property was absolutely disgusting. When we walked in, there was dirt and cigarettes all over the hallway. There’s no elevator. Our room smelled like mold, the shower head was held up by a zip tie, no pillowcases on the pillows, hair & lint on the bed, 2 broken hangers in the closet that weren’t useable, and the staff were unbelievably loud (yelling, slamming doors, etc.) at 5am both days. This was worse than a hostel. Would never stay again or recommend.

Brilliant value with all mod cons
Cute little room on top floor was perfect for me, a solo traveller - all mod cons plentiful: soap, shower gel and shampoo, towels, even a kettle with tea, coffee and milk. Friendly reception staff, great value within 5-7 min walk to both Paddington and Edgware Road underground stations. Toilet was separate and clean with a shower that has fantastic water pressure.

Rude and awful service
We arranged at the hotel and they told us they were fully booked. The receptionist didn't care at all that we were left without a room he gave us a refund as was no help whatsoever. When we went to others hotels around the area they said that his hotel was often known for doing this. I do not recommend going here as from what I was told it was a very common problem that this hotel has.

When I arrive, there was no one at the front desk to check me in. I had to call a number to get a friend of whoever was suppose to be a the front desk to come over and get me my room key. I had to wait 10 minutes for this friend to arrive. Super unprofessional and inconvenient as I was late to my dinner reservation due to this. The bathroom was not very clean and the shower head was broken, so taking a shower was not really an option even though I would have liked to take one. Overall, not a very good experience at this hotel, would not recommend.

An ideal hotel stop over. Nothing fancy, bed and decent breakfast at a great price in a busy part of London. Was able to pick my room key up early on the day of my stay due to the itinerary which was the opposite side of London during the check in hours, this was pre-arranged dependant upon the previous occupant having checked out. A £4 addition for breakfast on top of the room-only tariff turned out to be a bargain.

From the outside it looked as inviting as any of the others. I was put in room #1. Which is in the basement, under the stairs that every guest in the place trampled up and down from 7am onwards. Harry Potter had it better. Window looked out into the larder and was draughty. Tv remote looks like you cultivate ebola on it, irrelevant though because the tv didn’t work. No plug for the tiny sink so shaving was done with a running tap, shallow shower tray couldn’t drain fast enough, wall in the bathroom coming apart, stained carpet. Breakfast, cereals or eggs with cold ham and cheese. Not a rasher of bacon in the place. I’ve worked on my tools around the country and I’ve stayed in some dives, but I checked out of this place and checked into an ibis because this place was in danger of making my weekend a misery.
