Decent hotel close to tube stations and Hyde Park.

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: The breakfast
Location: Lots of nice restaurants close by, and Hyde Park for a stroll or jog
The twin bedded room was comfortable, but the bathroom and shower area were uncomfortably small.

Close to shops and tube

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Staff were great, really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Soundproofing windows on ground floor - but that's being picky and actually it was great to have the window open.
Location: Close to Bayswater tube station, so easy to get around London city, great shops and South Kensington Gardens
We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It's had a refurbishment so is pretty clean and very friendly. The continental breakfast was good - you even get boiled eggs, although the toaster didn't toast bread. I am fussy and stay in hotels a lot so for me to say this was good - then it must be.

Cozy, great location

We had a great stay here. Room was pretty cozy, but that's to be expected in central London. Very nice staff, clean rooms and great breakfast. Close to tube stop. Would stay here again. Great value for the location.

Check this hotel out.

Pros: Nice breakfast
Cons: The windows don't open very far, and it was very warm in the room. They provided a fan, but it would have been nice to get some air from outside.
Location: Near tube, many restos, and Hyde Park. Excellent location.
Good value. London is expensive, but this was good value for the city. Great location and very nice breakfast.

Well located, old style hotel only 3-4 min walk from Bayswater metro station. But single room was very small, luckily I only stayed one night. Breakfast buffet was okay, WiFi worked most of the time.

Perfect location in Notting Hill

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness
Location: Really close to Bayswater tube station, Whiteleys shopping centre, and 20-30 min walk to Kensington Palace. Also short cab ride to Paddington
Great hotel just steps away from a shopping centre that had a Marks & Spencer (for those not willing to spend £15 on meals). Clean hotel, staff were kind. Room was very small, and the bed was not very comfortable. Clean bathroom was a decent size. The free breakfast was nothing to write home about; just some cold cuts, croissants, and toast.

Reception staff dishonest

Hotel location is very good. Room was small but this is london. I can see why some would say it needs air conditioning but I was happy with a fan, which was provided. When I checked in they took the whole amount I prepaid as a deposit. Then on check out would not give me a receipt to confirm they would refund my money. Never stayed at a hotel which takes the whole amount as a security which they confirm you have prepaid!?!. Bear this in mind if your stay is more than one night as it becomes very expensive. I paid 150 for both nights and my deposit was the same amount. If I had booked 10 nights at 750 pounds then id have to pay 750 pounds as a deposit. They wouldn't print a check out invoice for me to confirm no charges had been incurred. Liars. Just on this nonsense I would not stay or recommend this hotel.
