“Very convenient location”
Great location, especially if you fly into Heathrow. Easy to get around city from Paddington.

“Not exactly what I was hoping for”
I am somewhat conflicted about my overall experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly, but most of them were not proficient in the English language, which was unexpected for me in an English speaking country. I did not expect that my hotel room would be across the street from the main hotel. The corridor to get to my room was extremely narrow, which made it difficult to get out with luggage the morning of check out when the cleaning staff had dirty laundry and their cleaning equipment along the hallway. The location was not bad: about 4 blocks from Paddington train station, but, depending on what sights you want to see, it required quite a few transfers. There was nothing really to see nearby that was a direct link from Paddington. Still, there were quite a few places to eat nearby to the Paddington station. Surrounding neighborhood was definitely quiet, if you are seeking a quiter spot. Lastly, the room was the size of a closet, which wasn't too bad, since I didn't expect to spend too much time in the room, but the problem was the miniature sink in the bathroom--it was so small, I couldn't even brush my teeth or wash my face without water spilling all over the floor (my face was longer than the sink, and I am not a large person). Overall, for the price, I would consider staying there again, but would probably look for alternative, available options first.
“Good for the price”
If the hotel had been an expensive one, my review would be less positive, but I did not have too high expectations. This does not necessarily mean the hotel was a bad one, on the contrary, it was clean and comfortable. We had a little issue about one of the hotel bellboys' breaking our luggage handle, but the hotel management was kind enough to compansate our damage after a thorough inspection. So overall the experience is more than satisfactory.
“Service TERRIBLE!!”
The location is quite good. It takes only 7 minutes on foot. Bathroom was clean. But, the service was terrible. Third person's(as a registered guest) linen was not prepared and after ordering we must wait more than one hour with 5 more calls. Only one person who would not ask anymore(including breakfast;very expensive) can stay this hotel considering the location.
“Great Location”
The hotel room was very small, but I guess common in London. The bathroom would have been fine except for the shower stall doors didn't open very wide. Not everyone that travels to London is a size 2. The a/c was not working when we checked in but they got it going within an hour. The television also did not work and we were not able to watch tv for 3 out of the 4 days we were there. Overall, it was ok.
“not that good, but not that bad”
-The location of the hotel made us ignore alot of bad things, like the size of the suite,it was extremly small ,although it was double bed it was too small for 2 people. -The weather was very cold and the room was not heated enough to that coldness,we complained many times but no maintenance was done. -The covers of the bed were not changed regulerly ,although we spilled tea on the cover they made the bed but didnt change it till couples of days later. -The service at the reception was not bad, they do help, but no smiles..the really friendly people were the guys who carry the suitecases and open the doors. -The food was good. Overall the hotel was good and I would check in again for the location and the rate I got .
“It's ok, but you got to ask for what you may need.”
The hotel is reasonably good considering it is in London & it is about four blocks from Paddington train station. Restaurants & grocaries are near by. The price is reasonable for what & where it is. I don't mind going back there again.
“Not impressed”
Every day something broke down.
“A tight squeeze & cold service”
The hotel employees (esp. at the front desk) were pretty much in their own world. They just seemed cold & unapproachable & would not even give a kind greeting when I would come or go in the hotel. I found that very strange because I've never encountered that cold indifference from hotel staff. The room itself was the worst part.. I booked a single twin because it was only me for a few days. The room looked like it was meant for a lil kid. Everything was tiny. The bed reached the wall so you literally had to climb over the bed to get to the other side of the room to use the telephone or open the window. The desk was tiny enough to fit only my laptop & I had to squeeze into the chair that barely pulled out because it would hit the bed; so most of the time I would have to pry out the chair & use the laptop standing because their only internet was by wire, not wi-fi. The absolute worst thing was the bathroom! When using the bathroom, you'd find yourself with your legs halfway outside of the bathroom door. The shower was so tiny that I literally had to squeeze into it sideways & barely had room to bath; not to mention that the drain would clog & the bottom would fill up with water past your ankles after 2 minutes. The only thing really good about this hotel is the location; central, close to train & underground.
