Great location, value, room and breakfastPosted Nov 19, 2013
Pros: The Room and location
Location: Right across the street from Earls Court station
I was very pleased in my overall experience as the value was great and what I got for that great price was generous. The room was functional and tidy and quiet with extra heating available, flat screen TV and a fridge, microwave and coffe and tea making facilities. The cooked breakfast was a bonus I was not expecting.

Overall DisappointingPosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: The location is perfect - Earl's Court. They provide an English breakfast daily which was convenient. There was a fridge, electric pot, and microwave.
Cons: Although most of the staff was nice and responsive, one was not and almost rude. Some housekeepers cleaned the room; others did not nor resupply coffe
Location: Earl's Court is a great location with many restaurants, pubs and shops. The Tube is a couple of blocks from the hotel so everything is accessible.
I got this room at a discount because I booked the flight through Expedia. I stayed at the Boka previously and possibly because of their assigning me to the wrong room - single vs a double - the gave me a triple with one bed downstairs and two beds in a loft. That room was nice with a good bathroom. I was expecting something similar, so was grossly disappointed. The room was ok with the exception of the bathroom, which was tiny to the point of being dysfunctional. The room had a couch and tv on the first level and two beds in a loft. There was a ladder to the loft which would not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. The beds were basic but ok. There was no trash basket in the room and they didn't provide one even after we complained. The loft was uncomfortably hot and we requested a fan. The clerk who checked us in said he would provide one but didn't do it. A later clerk did and it was fine. I would have rated this stay lower except for the rate I got. Rooms are very high in London and for what I paid, I would have to say the room was adequate, even if a disappointment from my first stay.

Location is excellent, but everything else is notPosted Oct 30, 2013
The hotel is located a very short walk from Earl's Court station. That is the only positive attribute. The room we stayed in was small, dirty, and hot. The shower was not clean. I would not stay there again.

I am sorry you feel that way, it is a shame you made no comment to reception , heating can be turned off by the guest in the room and it is very difficult to address a guests problems if they only leave anonymous reviews.

Terrible experiencePosted Oct 18, 2013
No way i could recommend this hotel. the condition of the room was so bad that no matter how good the rates or well located it is whenever the overall experience in regards to facility cleanliness was so bad and I really mean it so bad it makes it Not worth it at Any price.

I am sorry you feel that way, I do find it somewhat surprising that feeling so strongly you never mentioned a word to us about your dissatisifaction with your room which if I am correct from your review location was on the third floor.

cheap and tattyPosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Comfy bed and fair sized room
Cons: Everything else.
Location: Walking distance to tube
This hotel is just on the verge of dropping to bits, but not quite. Everything done on the cheap, surly reception guy barely spoke. Breakfast was average at best, cooked to order but cheap ingredients. Very very basic.

I am surprised you feel everything is dropping to bits, your room was opened new six months ago and the breakfast room has all new chairs and carpeting . The breakfast is cooked fresh and all food is supplied from 3663 one of the largest suppliers to hotels, pubs and resturants in the country, the bread is Mothers Pride, the bacon is Butchers quality as are the sausages, the eggs are free range the coffee is Lavazzo and the tea PG Tips so none of them are cheap ingredients at all and I am sorry you feel that way.

Excellent location close to the Picadilly Line.Posted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: Fresh towels each day, clean linen and a breakfast was included.
Cons: The staff were not exactly welcoming. They could do a lot better than they do now.
Location: One street away from Earls Court train station and two from Earls Court Rd. Plenty of restaurants and shops. Chelsea Football Club in walking distance
Breakfast included each day. Clean linen with fresh towels each day. We stayed for a week so location was fantastic. We were two adults with two children so it was affordable. Breakfast each day was a welcome bonus.

Convenient, good breakfast, helpful staff.Posted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: The staff was friendly, the room was kept clean and tidy, and the breakfast was good. The owners also have two cats, Nimrod and Sashi!
Cons: Add garbage bins, please!
Location: It's close to the Earl's Court Underground station, so as soon as you hop on there, the world is your oyster.
It wasn't bad. The room wasn't what I expected (there was a "living" level with a love seat, TV on a dresser, and table chair, and the bed-consisting of a double mattress on the floor (which is better than mine, by the way), on another level, which you accessed with a ladder). It had a fridge, kitchen sink where you could wash up dishes (they provided dinner plates, flatware, bowls, coffee cups, and drinking glasses), microwave, and an electric kettle. The bathroom was a tad small, but didn't bother me. Breakfast was good. Coffee, tea, orange juice, cereal, typical hotel fare. What surprised me was that when you sat down they gave you a plate with toast and offered you an English breakfast. Two eggs sunny side up, bacon, and sausage-yum. The sausage was a bit dry, but I noticed they made several in advance because it's in high demand, and they have a lot of people to serve within a relatively short period of time. It was also very convenient. It was only a couple of blocks from the Earl's Court Underground Station, as well as a few pubs, restaurants, fast food places, mom-and-pop shops, and a Boot's (UK's Walgreen's CVS). The staff was also helpful. I asked them where I could find something to eat the first night I was there, and the gentleman at the desk directed me down the street to where the restaurants and fast food joints where. He also pointed out some take-out menus. All in all, not bad. I might come back again.

Nice centrally located hotelPosted Sep 22, 2013
Location: Near both Earl's Court and West Brompton underground stations. A lot of shops and restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby.
In addition to a private bathroom, the room contains a small kitchenette with a stovetop burner, a mini fridge, a hot water boiler and a microwave (and utensils). Also has a tv,table, chairs and closet. A little old but good enough. Very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to Earl's Court station and West Brompton station. Affordable accommodations with friendly staff!

Renovated building with the bare necessities.Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Proximity to 3 tube lines and to various grocery facilities. Close to Tesco, M&S Simply Food, etc. Coffee in AM was really good and plentiful.
Cons: Rooms in general should be cleaned more often, along with the bathtub, toilet, etc. I had to clean the sink myself, and would clean the floors too.
Location: Location is great. 1 block from tube and to anywhere you want to go. Some good restaurants a couple of blocks away, and good groceries too.
Old building with a terrible smell coming from the sewer or something. Good location, and very close to tube. Room had the smallest television I have ever seen, but had lots of channels. Floors not cleaned regularly and I cleaned them myself. No facecloths at the hotel, and no kitchen cloth to clean up with at all. Luckily I brought my own. Coffee great, and breakfast good enough. I had the eggs every day and brought my own bread. Had a double room, but the mattress on the double bed was terrible and you could feel the springs. Thankfully I used 1 of the twin beds and that mattress was much better. Would not have been able to sleep on the double, and surely would have ended up on the floor.

Dear Guest , there was a problem with Thames water externally recently which has been resolved permanently we hope . The rooms are serviced daily . Facecloths are not generally found in European hotels any longer, you may get them in 4 or 5 star properties but they are not common in 1 , 2 or 3 star properties . You mention buying your own bread, I am not sure why as toast is available with breakfast and as much as you want , if it is to do with a dietary requirement we also have Gluten and Wheat Free bread available.
