ShabbyPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: Redoration would be good
I found the hotel to be very tired looking the wallpaper in the room looked dirty. The carpet was a patchwork of bits. There was only one person doing check in with people waiting. The sink was blocked , though it was attended to straight away. The airconditioning /heating did not work properly.

Even number rooms too close to trainPosted Mar 23, 2015
Nice rooms, but ask for odd numbered rooms as they are not at the train side. Steam room was not very nice. Got tub great, although you have to climb over the side to get in and out.

English NOT spoken herePosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: the location
Cons: the training of the staff
Location: Canary Wharf is Canary Wharf, not a place for leisure but a place for business
The Britannia is in a great location, in the heart of Canary Wharf. If you want a lie in though, avoid it, because the train passes just very near it, it's noisy, and starts running at 6.00am. Then if you survive that, the chamber maid will knock at your door at 8.00 to see whether she can make the room (a bit early, isn't it?). The staff are generally nice but their level of English is inadequate, from the front desk to the breakfast room to the concierge. The decor is a bit tired, but the rooms are large and comfortable.

駅から近いホテルPosted Mar 17, 2015

Derelict hotel in the middle of the money centerPosted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: absolutely nothing
Came on a late checking. Staff does not speak proper English (just Globish), carpets, furnitures, paintings are aged and in bad conditions. Bathrooms are not clean, rooms are very noisy and cold. Food at the indian restaurant is at the limit of the acceptable, lights are cheap and half functionning. In short, even if I was paid to go there I would not go back.

Decent hotel for the price.Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Price was right. Convenient to tube station (5 - 10 minute walk)
Cons: Better wifi, old, worn carpets, looks old in a rundown sort of way. Could use refurbishing .
Location: Near the Canary Wharf tube station. There is a mall there. Didn't spend much time around the hotel as we elected to go downtown London.
wifi was sketchy at best. Only amenity besides tv, bed and functioning bathroom with towels and shampoo, etc. and hair drier was tea (of course). Near Canary Wharf tube station which is a way from downtown but not too bad. Saturday and Sunday.part of Jubilee line was down so it was a bit more challenging to get downtown and to Heathrow. Sunday it opened too late (7:10) for me to make it to LHR in time so I took a €30 cab to Green Park and caught the Picadilly there. Made it with 10 minutes to spare (60 min. Check-in with Delta). Not in the room much. Good shopping at tube station - attached to a mall. It was a place to sleep. Restaurants on site did not interest me. Check in was great and they upgraded us free of charge.

Naff - rejectPosted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: I never have to go back to it again. It is a short walk from the business in Canary Wharf.
Cons: Ha ha ha where to start
Threadbare carpet Ripped wall paper Chipped furniture Lifts that are filthy Breakfast includes optional rubber sausages Coffee tastes like bitter wood chips Chairs you fall through as they are worn Noisy DLR rattles through the build fabric waking you up early The car park looks like a war zone What a state. The bad news is that this was an upgraded suite room
