Great position and good value for the O2 ArenaPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Accessibility and comfort.
Cons: The pool facilities are a bit dated and need a tidy up ie flaking ceiling.
Location: Near the tube to get to the O2 Arena. Lovely palatial area with a great shopping mall.
Lovely large twin room with great views across Canary Wharf. Within walking distance of the tube and great shops. Did not try out the restaurants which, there were at least 4, but did have a nice swim and sauna. Had a great sleep as no London background noise apart from an occasional plane or train. Would stay again.

Decent canary wharf hotelPosted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Location. View
Cons: Air conditioning needs to improved. I had it on the entire time and was still very warm in the room. I needed a fan in order to be comfortable.
Location: Great location close to DLR and Jubilee line. A lot of food and shopping options available nearby in canary wharf
Convenient location about 5 minute walk to DLR and Tube. This hotel almost seems like you're going back in time, old fashioned. The A/C in my room did not work, but staff sent me a fan within about 5 minutes of calling them. Great view of canary wharf. Friendly staff. I feel it just needs to be renovated.

A pleasant enough stayPosted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Clean, pleasant enough.
Cons: Bar service, not being woken early!!
We had an enjoyable enough stay with one very slight exception. We went to the bar to get a drink, sat down, perused the menu, decided on a bottle of champagne and waited. Surely at these prices it must be waiter service? It seems not, or at least nobody came to attend to us, I wasn't going up to the bar to order a £50 bottle of champagne so went to bed instead. The only other thing was that we were woken around 0800 by a) the cleaners and b) some building work.

Needed to stay a few days in this area for familyPosted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Convenient and untroubled. Efficient room service and cleaning
Cons: The attitude and manner of some of the staff. I think it is a cultural/linguistic matter. Most were foreign
Location: Canary Wharf. Walking distance to many shopping malls, the tunnel under the Thames to Greenwich, Cutty Sark etc. Good underground and Docklands Light
It is a very impersonal hotel which has its advantages. No one interfered. Anyone could walk in and out really without being challenged. I felt the the concierge, although he was able to give the information we wanted, was not very sympathetic. The dining staff were abrupt to the point of rudeness and we walked out and ate breakfast outside the rest of the stay

Tiny room, but great valuePosted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: At least half the price of a similar hotel in London. Wifi worked great (and was free). Great location in Canary Wharf.
Cons: Room was tiny but they have upgraded free on other visits.
Extreme value. If I hadn't stayed here before, I think I would have passed cause I'd have assumed it was a fleabag based on the price. On other stays they auto-upgraded to bigger room but as they were full I was in smallest room, and it was definitely tiny. But no complaints, still incredible value.

Nice room, though noisyPosted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Location for London!
Cons: Room noise!
Location: Greenwich nearby, and good spot for visiting London as tourist, to get a good hotel not so far from the city center.
The hotel has a good location near the underground station, 20 mins away from London city center. The hotel and room condition are accordingly to a 4 star hotel, though the room was somehow noisy. For some reason, the address wasn't located correctly with google maps...spent over 30 mins finding the hotel!

Good location in Canary Wharf --Condition TerriblePosted Jan 25, 2014
Cons: Outdated furniture, carpets, internet infrastructure... could go on.
Stayed 1 night for a business trip. Staff was friendly, but room was a disaster. Hotel generally very outdated, old, and in need of major renovations. Heater barely worked in room, wifi internet could not reach even the third floor, and television (remote) did not work. I wasn't bothered too much as it was only a day, but would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to a friend until they do some major renovations.
