“Smiling faces”
Very nice hotel with smiling faces. Very helpful staff and clean. Nearly city center. If I visit London again I will cetainly choose Caesar Hotel. Thanks to eveyone.
“The hot water boiler was broken and I had to go to another hotel for shower.”
- My flight was 4 hours delayed, thus, throwing my whole schedule off. - The location is wonderful, although my twin room was so small and not enough closet space for my clothes. - I recommend that the room have a refrigerator; there was hardly any room to keep my toiletries.
“Small Rooms but Nice Hotel”
Caesar Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Paddington Station, and about 5 minutes from the Bayswater tube stop. It appears to have been recently renovated. Staff were extremely courteous, helpful, and efficient. The room was very small (along the lines of a New York "boutique" hotel)., but very nicely appointed, with a very comfortable bed, good linens, large towels, and good-quality toiletries. WiFi is available in the rooms for a fee. IT was an extremely good value, and I would most certainly stay there again.
“Very nice hotel”
Nice hotel. Very clean. Very modern. Great location in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of Paddington Station. Good deal.
“attractive residential setting just minutes from bus and underground”
After getting over the smallness of our room, my husband and I found space for everything and enjoyed the comfort of our king bed and view of large tree branches next to our window that looked out onto a lovely and quiet street. This was just a few minutes walk from a major road with bus and tube access, as well as the northern edge of Hyde Park. Bathroom was also tiny and spartan but with a good shower and all other plumbing in good shape. Overall hotel service was polite and attentive. They have an excellent breakfast, which is quite expensive if it's not included in your room rate. Location is perfect for quick access to central London, and you can walk a short distance in the other direction to the fashionable Notting Hill area. We would definitely return and will recommend to others.
“surprisingly good”
The was a last minute choice for an overnighter before using the Heathrow express to get to the airport. ( Heathrow express stops at paddington station which is 10 min walk away). I was very surprise at how beautiful the neighhorhood is and the hotel is in brand new condition. I had a single bed room and it was very small as expected. However, the amenities were very new and the deco was clean and modern. The hotel restaurant was very expensive and no free internet in the room. However, there is a 1 hour free access/day at the lobby, just enough for me to do my online check in and check on my flights status. However, for a longer stay or business stay, the 1 hour free access is quite silly.
“Can't Wait to Go Back”
We had a good experience at the Ceasar - although it was short lived. Due to flight cancellations we only spent a short night instead of an entire afternoon in London however arriving at the hotel past midnight was no issue and we quickly were checked in and went to our room. I was expecting a small room since I hear that about London but it wasn't too bad. It was clean and the bed was comfortable especially after spending 12+ hours in a Greece airport. All in all it was good. 10 minute walk to Paddington station which might be too long of a walk with luggage but we enjoyed it and hope to come again soon for a longer visit.
“The Perfect London Choice for Us”
Spent two nights here (September 2011) with my boyfriend (we're in our forties) and frankly the hotel was much nicer than I expected. Used to paying much more for this level of comfort and service and style. The hotel is in a beautiful neighborhood - quintessential London - beautiful Georgian buildings, classic London gardens (A la the one Hugh Grant & Julia Roberts are in in Notting Hill) really close to lovely cafes and restaurants. Recommend '35' a restaurant just literally around the corner on Craven Gardens Road for a superb gourmet romantic dinner - very pricey but excellent menu and cellar. We walked in Hyde Park at night - all very romantic and walked towards Paddington to browse old rare bookstores. The staff were professional and helpful - we drank in the bar a couple of times but went out and bought vodka and juices that we then took up to our room to make martinis (saved a ton f $$$) and they had no problem providing two ice buckets and even martini glasses! I wuld definitely go back for another romantic encounter.
“Caesar's guest”
Seemed expensive - but then London is not cheap. Small but reasonably comfortable rooms. Proximity to Paddington is a real +. Nice crew of people.
“Great location”
This hotel is on a nice quit street just a short walk from a number of tube stations. Queensway, Bayswater, and Padington are all with in a 10-15min walk. The hotel is very clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and eager to help. The bar and returant have good food and is served in a fairly quick manner. I stayed for about 2 weeks and could not ask for any thing to be better.
