Decent for LondonPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: location, friendly staff, safe area
Location: Central to 3 main tube stations: Paddington, Bayswater & Queensway. Decent food near by and souvenior stores.
Hotel staff were helpful where possible, however the room size was extremely small (could barely move in the shower). Overall great location and safe area.

Location Location!Posted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: Contemporary. Room was small, but that is to be expected in London. Price a little high, but you are paying for the location. Free internet.
Cons: Breakfast could be included, although there are some good restaurants nearby.
Location: Walking distance to shops, trains, parks etc. Upscale neighborhood.
Friendly, helpful staff. Was able to check in early, which was a great plus.

Close to city and nice location.Posted Nov 22, 2013
Cons: The rooms could be cleaner and the cleaners shouldn't enter occupied rooms at 8am.
Checking in took sometime and was becoming frustrating, the rooms are very small and could be cleaner. Staff friendly. Location was excellent. Would not go to this hotel with a family, only go on a business trip.

Very posh modern hotel.Posted Nov 19, 2013
Location: Walking distance to everything including the tube.
This hotel is gorgeous. Totally remodeled and modern inside. The room service is fantastic...best food we had in London. Be careful or you'll never leave your room! The staff is very friendly and helpful and we were very satisfied with our stay. The best hotel we stayed at in England. We highly recommend it!

Good hotel with services beyond its ratingPosted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: The service and the amenities, combined with a good Central London location.
Cons: In contrast to the service and amenities of the hotel in general, my room was very small, with tiny windows that made it feel like a room in a garret.
I found that the service was excellent, and the hotel facilities very good. In terms of amenities this was a solid four star hotel. The WIFI connection was perfect, and I was also able to print out emails at no cost using a computer located at the side of the lobby. The single room that I was given was small, but easily met all my needs. The restaurant in the hotel was again surprising as the food was not inexpensive but worth the price because of the quality of ingredients, taste and presentation.

A terrible hotel apart from the restaurantPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: the restaurant food
Cons: To improve overall service, room cleaness, and deliver guests' requests on time
Location: near the tube, great location
The bathroom stinks. Ordered a taxi through hotel concierge and double-checked the reliability of the taxi due to the importance of the meeting, but the taxi didn't show up at all and hotel staff were not helpful either. Also saw some other guests experiencing problems...one lost her bag in the lobby when she asked the hotel to help load the luggage into a taxi, and the other one had issues with safe and nearly missed flight due to a long wait for the problem to be resolved. The restaurant food is good.

Clean, comfortable and close to Paddington StationPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Quiet and nice neighbourhood. Very good breakfast. Very courteous staff.
Cons: London hotel rooms are always too small but I guess not much can be done about this...
Location: Very close to Notting Hill cafés and restaurants
Room was smaller than what I expected but I have no complaint: the room was clean and provided everything I needed. Located in a very nice neighbourhood.

Pros: Clean room, including a non-carpet floor which I love because they seem cleaner. Front desk staff were nice.
Cons: Either rearrange the room so the bed isn't inches from the door or have the housekeeping staff mindful of noise levels in the morning.
Considering the hundreds of other options in London, I can safely say that I won't be returning. It's not that they were horrible, but there were some things that personally I wouldn't want to deal with again. The first, would be the incense in the lobby. When I checked in, it wasn't going, but a couple other times it was and incense makes me ill. Thankfully, once up in the elevator & down my hallway it couldn't be smelled anymore. I've seen reviews of the single rooms and crossed my fingers I wouldn't be assigned one of the horrible ones. I wasn't so I was very thankful for that. Though the room seemed recently done or luckily spared the wear and tear rooms can get, the design of it was annoying. There was a step up of about two inches from the bathroom to the main room. Perfect toe stubbing height! The head of the bed was positioned inches from the door. I didn't think anything of it until woken up in the morning by the staff's loud voices and banging around from the hallway and rooms nearby. I could very plainly hear conversations. On the bright side, the staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient. My room was wonderfully clean and the bathroom stocked with nice soap, shampoo, body wash, etc. Towels & bedding were of good quality. The TV only had a handful of stations in English & didn't work at first until I realized a cable at the back had come undone. But it did have another handful of stations from a variety of other countries.
