A good experience.

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: We appreciated having a number of reasonable places to eat or pick up snacks in the neighborhood. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Cons: The staff was happy to help when there were things we needed but we occasionally had a little trouble making ourselves understood.
Location: The hotel is equidistant from 2 metro stops that are 5-6 blocks away. Not a problem. The hotel is only about 2 blocks from Hyde Park.
We hadn't travelled in Europe in quite some time and I forgot how small some of the rooms can be but this added to the experience. We were able to walk from Paddington station and found the hotel to be in a very nice neighborhood. The lobby is small but nice, just like the room. The hotel isn't really close to any of the top city attractions but it isn't that far to the metro, making it very easy to get anywhere in the city. We particularly enjoyed being only about 2 blocks from Hyde Park.

A reasonable hotel in a quiet but central location

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The quiet yet central location.
Cons: The guest room amenities are sparse, only the bare essentials are provided.
The hotel is in an old building that has been renovated to an acceptable level. It is within easy walking distance of Hyde Park, Underground stations and bus stops. Shops and restaurants are close by. The staff are anxious to please and service is prompt. Compared to other hotels in London we have stayed in The Caesar is good value.

Small but good.

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Good location. Helpful staff.
Location: Close to Queensway, Paddington Station and Kensington Park and Palace.
Overall good. Room was really small. Was charged 2.3GBP for one local phone call. Asked for a cab at reception and they sent a private cab that charged alot more than London Black Cab. Staff were good and helpful. They agreed to hold our luggage for 10 days while we went on a tour.

Well worth the money!

Posted Jun 24, 2014
This hotel is in a beautiful location. Close to Hyde park. Very close to the underground. The hotel staff went out of their way to help. We even got advice about how to get hold of cheaper theatre tickets. We even got good seats! The food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was modern and well kept. The only minus was that the bed was too hard for our liking, but we don't all have the same taste.. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel - central area

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: It was not a huge room, but it was more than adequate for a couple of nights stay. Easy access to Bayswater Station and Paddington Station.
Cons: Not much - great bathroom and tub/shower combo for London Hotel
Location: see above -everything was handy
Had a very early arrival into London Heathrow, took Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and got to the Hotel around 10 AM - they very kindly accomodated us as quickly as they could and we had a room within an hour. Went out of their way. Excellent service.

The room was very small, but clean, and cozy for one person. The hotel staff were very friendly and made the whole experience easy. Hotel is in a great area of London, very close to the metro and the parks. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice Quiet Hotel Conveniently Located

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Convenient and clean
Cons: Felt the price for a continental breakfast was really expensive.
Location: Shopping, restaurants and easy access to through the underground stations to other areas of the city.
This is an older small hotel that is comfortable. Its rooms have been updated and are clean. It is located next to several underground stations and railway station. It is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. It is very quiet and good for travelers that don't want to be in the busier areas. The staff is friendly and helpful. A moderate hotel with a reasonable price for London.

Nice location

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Very modern
Cons: There is a protruding towel rack at one end of the tub and a fixed glass door at the shower end of the tub. Can be tricky getting in and out.
Location: Close to the underground and the hop on hop off bus. Also close to shopping and restaurants.
Hotel was clean and nicely redone. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Basics are fine, but that's it

Posted Jun 8, 2014
The hotel is clean and comfortable and the location is excellent. Unfortunately, my room was directly next to the elevator so I was disturbed at various times - especially early morning - by the elevator bell. Because of this I did not get a single good night's sleep. The desk in the room was too small to be of any use and served only as a stand for the TV. The gym was extremely basic with a couple of cardio machines, dumbbells up to 10kg with no other weights or resistance machines and very little floor space. If all you want is a comfortable bed in the centre of London, then there's nothing wrong with it, but it was no better than 3 star hotels that I've stayed in for less money in the same area.
