Old and dumpy. Well below a US Motel 6Posted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: Location and easy access to Waitrose, a great local supermarket.
Cons: New beds, at least 1 chest of drawers. They are not on a par with other, similar hotels on the same block with the same buildings
Location: Short walk to Paddington Station. Some very good pubs and restaurants there. Hookah bars they are a short walk from hotel. Near Arab quarter
Camelot did not have our room for 4 ready, so we split up into 2 seperate rooms. Had to wait 3 days for our selected room. Air conditioning did not exist. Old matresses. Very small but modern bathroom. No drawers in room. Staff was very attentive and helpful, but the place needs a total refurbish.

Small hotel in a good placePosted Aug 25, 2013
Hotel's position is in a very good place, lots of bus, tube alternatives. There are many shops in close surrounding and Oxford street is in walking distance. Room is small but enough. Toilet and shower will be better if renewed. Breakfasts (full English breakfast) were very good. Staff was also polite and very helpful. If you are hard to sleep be awared that walls are thin and every sound in neigbouring rooms are heard.

London on the cheapPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: A little noisy and the many stairs.
Location: Close to Edgeware Rd tube and not too far from Marble Arch, Hyde park and Paddington Station-close to hospital so noisy sirens
Very close to the tube about 10 min walk and neighborhood a little noisy. Good English Breakfast was included and the breakfast staff exceptionally pleasant. Front desk staff nice and attentive to our needs. Our room was small and 3rd floor walk-up a little challenging for older folk. Overall for London hotel prices a really good bang for the buck.

Nice hotel in downtown DublinPosted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: I liked the staff, who were friendly and helpful and the location is very close to many major sights and attractions of Dublin.
Cons: The washing machine was broken and it would have been nice to be able to do some laundry during our stay.
Location: The hotel is about 3 blocks from O'Connell Street, 6 blocks from Temple Bar. Trinity College, where the Book of Kells is kept is about 8 blocks.
The Townhouse Hotel is actually two properties next to each other. The Globetrotters Hostel is next door and shares the same breakfast room. The building is dated but the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The shower worked and the coffee maker worked fine, as did the flat-screen TV. The staff were friendly and helpful. The car park was reasonable. There is a lift that worked, which was nice for my wife with lots of luggage. Laundry facilities are onsite, but the washing machine was broken when we stayed. We booked the full Irish breakfast (free when you book your hotel reservation online), which was quite good.

Close to Marleybone rail stationPosted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: Reasonably priced.
Cons: General plumbing in the hotel.
Location: Close to Edgeware tube station and Marleybone railroad.
Didn't spend a lot of time in our room -- left early; returned late -- most of our time was spent sleeping while we were there.

Cheap for a reasonPosted Jul 4, 2013
Location: Location is good because it is near Paddington station.
This should be advertised as a hostel. The room was cramped. The shower drained all over the bathroom.

Price and locationPosted Jun 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is walking distance to Paddington Station and an easy ride to Heathrow on the Heathrow Express (when it is running). If you need to be in this part of London, the price is very good, but you get what you pay for. Hotel is very minimal in amenities. Bring your own shampoo, etc.
