Superb hotel and friendly staffPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Recently stayed at the Charlotte Street hotel for my daughter's 21st birthday as we going to the theatre. The hotel and the staff were fantastic. Loved the honesty bar and the staff could not do enough for us. Great food in the restaurant and again the staff really nice. Lovely that the hotel acknowledged my daughter's 21st - thank you Charlotte Street! We will be back.

Most caring staff EVER!!!Posted May 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked a room at the Charlotte Street Hotel for my 79 year old father who was making his way from Calgary, Alberta to London to Lyon, but had been sidetracked by an emergency stay in hospital. The Charlotte Street Hotel staff went well above and beyond their hotelier responsibilities by making sure they were expecting my dad. The reservations desk staff emailed my 3 times before dad's arrival to ensure they were ready for his health and travel needs. Once he arrived, they immediately had the concierge help make arrangements for dad's safe travel to Paris, and ensured he would receive wheelchair assistance as required. They also emailed me to let me know Dad had arrived. Dad also said the staff upgraded his room and it was the nicest hotel he'd ever stayed in. The Charlotte Street hotel made a very stressful situation so smooth and hassle free, and their genuine caring was such a gift for us all. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Worth every penny.Posted May 16, 2013
Pros: The room
Cons: Lack of view from room
Fabulous hotel. Went to London for a weekend to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. Hotel very kindly upgraded us from a superior room to one of their loft suites. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast in in the hotel restaurant (Oscar's) was top notch. Hotel has a really individual, special feel and is situated in a great location. Will definitely be going back and would unreservedly recommend it to a friend. Not cheap, but if you're looking for a hotel in that price range, I'd strongly recommend the Chalotte Street Hotel. There are loads of other hotels in London with similarly priced rooms (many with probably much better name recognition), but in my experience a great entrance lobby and restaurant comes with a boring identikit room. The Charlotte Street Hotel feels special when you go in, in the restaurant and in your room.

A great place for slice ofr luxury in the hubbubPosted Feb 21, 2013
Pros: It's individuality
Location: Brilliant for Soho, theatres and shopping!
This hotel really should be on yuor list of places to say in London if you prefer a less generic, more bespoke, luxury experience. We went as a couple adn had the most fantastic stay. The High Tea was divine, and the quality of service was second to none.
