Convenient Location and Good ValuePosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Location is great. Facilities of the room are very handy, though murphy bed is a bit challenging sometimes.
Cons: Room servicing and stocking up of more towels and toilet paper for guests staying more than 3 nights.
The Apart-hotel is a nice compromise to a cramped old room in other parts of London. The location cant be beat and the in-room amenities are very helpful. It is a bit painful that they don't service the room more than once during a 9 day stay (one runs out of toilet paper and has to embarrassingly ask for more at the front desk), but otherwise it is a well run and equipped hotel. I would stay there again for sure and have done so a number of times now

Convenient hotelPosted Jul 16, 2014
We had three days to kill in London, and looked for an affordable hotel online. The Citadine was in a very convenient location, and had good feedback. The room was well equipped despite its small size, - only just enough space to walk around the bed. The place was clean, had a good bathroom (shower over bath) loads of storage, and a kitchenette. My fussy 15 year old daughter didn't complain once. All I would suggest it lacks is a cafetiere or similar coffee making device

Perfect for a concert at the BarbicanPosted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, convenient location.
Cons: The rubber mat in the bath is faintly depressing!
Location: Great location if you need to be in the City of London. There is a Tesco Express just along the road if you need any provisions
Nicer bedding than I've previously experienced at a Citadines. And there was a small quantity of tea/coffee/sugar/UHT which would probably do you if you are just there for one night. Super clean, as always, and surprisingly quiet given the location on Goswell Road.

Close to tubePosted May 9, 2014
Pros: The little kitchen is brilliant.
Location: Close to the tube
Hotel staff very helpful. We booked a double room but were given one with a drop down bed. We went back to reception and they changed it immediately. Nothing too much trouble and always smiling.

I stay in so many London hotels and this is one of the best value. Well equipped , clean, well located, and spacious (by London standards).

Excellent hotelPosted Apr 15, 2014
I planned a trip to London with my husband and small dog. I found it extremely difficult to find a hotel which would accept dogs and was delighted when I found the Citadines Barbican. It was a truly wonderful experience for all of us.

Try not to go on carpet cleaning dayPosted Apr 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
I liked the hotel, but they decided to clean the carpets in the hallway while we were there, and it smelled sooo strong of chemicals! I wished they could have opened a window or given us a room on another floor so I didn't feel like I had to hold my breath and run from the elevator to our room.
