great location, clear, quietPosted Jul 17, 2014
Very happy with my stay here, close to National Gallery, The Eye, Buckingham Palace. Bus and Tube stops are only a few steps away. Clear and quiet.

Location was perfect for touring London.Posted Jul 15, 2014
Cons: Perhaps instructions on use of keys for elevator upon arrival. Internet in lobby was helpful but tended to be slow and a bit cumbersome to use.
Arrived late on day of arrival, around midnight, and staff on duty were welcoming and seemed as if they were anticipating our arrival. Room/apartment on 7th floor was better than anticipated and had all the amenities we needed. There is a 24 hour supermarket nearby where we were able to buy supplies for breakfast, etc. Coffee available in lobby at all times was great. A few minor glitches here and there, but no major compaints. It was wonderful to be in such a centrally located place and could walk from our hotel to Trafalgar, Picadilly Circus, Leicester Sq, or London Eye, etc.

Excellent central hotel!Posted Jul 15, 2014
We had a wonderful stay at this place the staff were friendly and very helpful. It is situated in a central and beautiful area. When you walk in it has a modern vibe, the room was great with very good facilities. We didn't have a view however but weren't that bothered as we didn't spend much time in the room. Everything is close at hand to this hotel including the theatre Trafalger Studios, and just a 10 min walk away from the London Eye. Channing Cross Station is a five min walk and is extremely handy to get to. Outside the hotel you can get bus tours and i would highly recommend the Ghost Bus tour as we had a fantastic time. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and am definitely staying here again.

Excellent location helpful staffPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location, room cleanness, friendly staff
Cons: In-room safe could be bigger (big enough for a laptop), fridge is too noisy
Location: Within walking distance to major tourist attractions such as The National Gallery, Covent Garden Market, Regent Street, Buckingham Palace, etc.
The location of the hotel is excellent: it's right off the Trafalgar Square on a quieter side street; minutes to Charing Cross Station where you can catch a train or taxi; and within 15 minutes walking distance to all major tourist attractions. We booked an apartment suite. The room is very clean - this is one of the very few hotels we stayed at where the room didn't smell moldy at all. We also really liked the convenience of the kitchenette and appliances - I would suggest turning off the fridge at night because it's very noisy. In-room safe is on the small side - don't expect to fit your laptop in there. It should however be able to house iPad and digital camera. The service staff was very friendly and helpful. Remember this is Europe/UK so there is no early check-in available. We always booked an extra night just so our room was ready for us when we got in first thing in the morning.

Great stayPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Position and facilities
Location: Very close to West End Theatres, National Portrait Gallery and River as well as Charing Cross and embankment railway stations.
We have stayed at Citadines Trafalgar four times now and find it ideal for our time in London. It is centrally located and has cooking facilities which we like.

Location: Really close to Trafalgar Square with National and Portrait Galleries. Easy to cross thames for South Bank and London Eye. Easy to access Clipper
Perfect location. Easy check in and check out. Only stayed one night but would be great with mini kitchen for longer stays.

Location, locationPosted Jun 27, 2014
I'd have to say the best thing about this hotel would be it's location.you were located close to many different sights both day and night. We stayed in an apartment where the rooms were average in comfort, and the plumbing did not work properly,

Perfect locationPosted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Location, the friendly, competent staff, the reasonable room rates and the compact, clean room itself. The lack of carpeting was also much appreciated
I booked this hotel because we could walk to most places we were visiting, like the National Portrait Gallery and the British Museum--even Fortnum and Mason. We could also walk to the end of the street to the Embankment and catch a river bus to the Tower of London and then cross over to the Tate Modern and the Globe. There is also a corner shop where we could buy fruit, yoghurt, cereal, etc. for breakfast, which saves a lot of money. Coffee is thankfully provided in the lobby which got us started in the morning. The room has a small fridge and dishes and there are laundry facilities in the basement, much needed as my daughter's sunscreen exploded in her suitcase. Five pounds for a load of washing but much cheaper than dry cleaning.

Great hotel in Trafalgar SquarePosted Jun 21, 2014
Great hotel in the centre of everything, and close to public transport for the couple of things that are just too far away after walking everywhere for 3 days straight! Room was fresh, modern and clean. Staff were really helpful and friendly (shout out to Manuel there). My only 2 very mild criticisms (and I note they wouldn't prevent me from staying there again by any stretch) were the tiny shower in what was actually a fairly large bathroom and the wait for the washing machines. Other than that my stay was perfect. I'm a single female traveller and not once did I feel unsafe. And who doesn't love free wifi? Thanks for having me, and I hope to come again!
