Great hotel in a great part of London

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: The location and the room
Cons: The decor was relatively new, however there were a few areas that needed minor touch ups
Location: All proximate timings...Buckingham Palace (10 minute walk), Houses of Parliament/Big Ben (15 minute walk), South Bank/London Eye (10 minutes)
I live in London, but wanted a staycation in the city centre. The hotel is right in the centre on the road that runs to the embankment on one end and Trafalgar Square on the other end. All major landmarks are within walking distance and it is nice being able to cook your own food should you wish. It was a comfortable stay in a nice hotel.

Excellent location.

Fab place as location is wonderful for a clean quite sumptuous place to stay in central London where other accommodation of similar standing would be more expensive. Not got a luxurious reception lobby but it s comfortable and modern-you don't spend a lot of time in it anyway. Would stay again.

unexpectedly good value

my appartment was unexpectedly spacious and scrupulously clean. I was also surprised at how central the lication is. as a woman staying on my own I could not fault the security procedures. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend it

Nice hotel near Trafalgar Square

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: The location and kitchen facilities.
Cons: Nothing at all its an excellent hotel.
Location: Near Trafalgar Square. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and across the bridge to the London Eye.
Stayed for 2 nights at this excellent hotel. Room was very spacious and clean. Hotel staff very polite and helpful. Kitchen facilities a bonus. Very good location minutes from Trafalgar Square where its easy to get around by bus. Lots of restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Great facilities in the room and communal areas. Much better than a hotel! The only problem was the shower pressure wasn't great but on the whole a great place to stay and fantastic location. Would highly recommend.

Comfortable hotel with a great location

Posted Oct 31, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort, reasonably priced, friendly staff
Cons: The only caveat is the breakfast. They have the usual continental fare (pastries, yogurt, sliced ham, etc) and it is fine, but expensive at 12 pounds
Location: West End, National Gallery and Portrait Gallery
We love to take in as many shows as possible so this hotel is a short walk to most West End theaters plus it is halfway between Charring Cross and Embankment stations so you can get on pretty much any line in a jiff. The room is very comfortable with a small kitchenette. Not huge, but more than sufficient. The bed had a single mattress - none of this "two twins pushed together" nonsense.
