Good choicePosted Aug 30, 2014
We stayed with a 4 year old who loved having a queen sized bed to herself. Great to have parking at a good price too. Handy location as we were seeing family and tourist sights of London.

Nice hotel near LondonPosted Aug 19, 2014
Location: Very close to train station, and just a few minutes from London. Just get down on Victoria station and you are in London downtown.
Great staff, very helpful and kind, definitely recommend.

Hotel is in a Great Location and a good valuePosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The staff was helpful and the woman who serviced our room was so sweet, we absolutely loved her and whatever we asked she made sure we had.
Cons: WIFI is non existent! It is insulting for this hotel to claim to be a Business Hotel, if the rooms cannot get WIFI. If you are going to need an intern
Location: Best part of the hotel is definitely the location. you cannot beat being a block away from East Croydon Station which was easy journey from Gatwick
We stayed in Croydon Park Hotel during a 2 week Holiday in London. It was a good value for the money in comparison to staying in Greater London. This Hotel is listed as a 4 star resort however it is lacking in some areas to be considered a true 4 star. Check in is at 3:00 and they strictly adhere to this policy, but if your flight comes in early, you are allowed to hold your luggage in a room while you explore other places. The Room: Was clean and nice and was comparable to the pictures. We stayed in 501, which was a corner room on the 5th floor. I am not sure why this is considered an "executive" because in the US this would be a standard room, Im not sure what was added that the other rooms did not have. The King Bed is not a true King, which was disappointing, it is two twins zipped together which does not make for easy comfort because the crease is extremely noticeable. The bathroom was spacious, updated and had the standard amenities. We did not have any problem with noise. The shower was nice and large and the floor had been updated as compared to the other floors. We had the Executive Room so the Business center was an added bonus.

Nice hotel and lovely staffPosted Aug 5, 2014
Stayed there for a night as our plane was so delayed when arriving back to Gatwick. Stayed in the Executive suite which was nice, and had an old fashioned feel.

Convenient Hotel Close to ShopsPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The service and staff
Cons: A bit of modernsation
Location: Shopping and excellent travel links to the rest of the capital or country
Overall good, but I am not used to staying in a hotel room without a bar fridge, also the cost of food is very high

Great valuePosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: A third of the price compared to similar hotels in London
Location: Train to London is a two minute walk and it takes you to several London locations in less than 15 minutes.
Friendly staff, clean and nice size rooms compared to many London hotels

Excellent value within easy reach of LondonPosted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Convenient, modern, good value
Location: Croydon has reasonable shops but the selling point is the location, 15 minutes from both Gatwick airport and Victoria

Had a great stayPosted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I booked this hotel as an American having never been to England before and wanting to stay close to London, but not IN London. The Croydon Park Hotel was great for that. The train station is only a few minutes walk from the hotel, so I was easily able to travel into the city and back. There is also a nice city and mall within a few minutes walking distance for food and entertainment. The hotel room itself was nice as well as the gym and pool facilities. Would definitely stay there again.
