Don't Stay Two TimesPosted Oct 28, 2013
We stayed 5 nights the previous week and had a good but small room. Then we stayed one night in transition between Eurostar and Heathrow. This room was 319 and was so small it was an insult to us. It was so small the desk chair could not be pulled out because the bed was in the way. There was no room to open up the luggage rack. The air conditioner would not work and we had to open the window that was blocked at 4 inches. We spent a very hot and noisy night from the street noise. As a further insult the elevator was broken in the morning and we had to manouver our bags down a very narrow staircase with multiple fire doors - some had to be pulled open and some had to be pushed open. We were only offered help with the bags after we were all the way in the lobby. Needless to say we will not ever consider staying at Comfort Inn King's Cross again.

Hotel very convenient to St. Pancras/King's Cross.Posted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: We liked being close to transportation facilities, good restaurants and convenience shopping.
Cons: The heating system was not effective for the one cold night we had.
Location: There is train, bus, underground and taxis all within about a block. Good pubs, delis and convenience shopping are in the nearby areas.
The hotel staff was helpful with our special needs. The breakfast staff was very nice and efficient. The hotel is really close to St. Pancras/king's Cross Stations with train, underground and bus connections.

Comfortable hotel close to Kings XPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness, good bed.
I stayed at this hotel for one night. It is in a good, central location. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, the bed is comfortable and there are good tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I would happily stay there again.

Small: Even by European StandardsPosted Oct 11, 2013
We were assigned a room in basement of their "new building". The room was extremely hot and humid and wouldn't cool down even with the window open. The temperature stayed a constant 80+ degrees even though it was never warmer than 65 degrees outside during our entire visit. Their ventilation did not have a cooling option. I have visited Europe 8 times in my life so I know hot standards. This room was so small that I couldn't even open my luggage while it sat on the floor. Besides the humidity and the rediculously small confines, the room had a sewage smell that gave us headaches. The continentaL breakfast was lousy, even by cheap European hotel standards. The staff, however, was friendly and professional.

2 minute walkPosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: The second room was bigger and ready for us. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good.
Cons: There are several rooms that one cannot reach without using stairs, which was a challenge for my 80 year old parents.
Location: Close to tube and train, and several restaurants. Don't take the tour bus that sells tickets in the lobby. They abandoned us and we had to get a cab
First of all, its not a 2 minute walk. It's closer to ten, especially with luggage, but thats okay. The first room they gave us was in the basement. I booked a room for three adults and the third bed was folded up and unmade. The room was so small that, had the bed been set up, I don't think anyone could get to the bathroom without climbing over the cot. After a great deal of complaining, we were given another room.

SmallPosted Sep 18, 2013
Stayed here in Aug 2013. Walking distance to the King's Cross St. Pancras train station with luggage. Rooms are what we expected in Europe - very small. Bathroom was upgraded but rest of room was not. One website shows WiFi is included but found out it was not.

Ok for a short stay - Consider other optionsPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Close to Kings Cross. The breakfast was fine and staff were pleasant.
Cons: Our room smelt damp and the corridors were too small.
Location: This is a great location for King Cross rail station. We caught the Euro star to Paris from this location. Not even a five minute walk.
The hotel is ok but my wife and I had a few disappointing points. The room we were in had a damp smell and had little windows which meant there was little natural light. The corridors are small it is like a rabbit warren. The room was small but it is London and most hotel rooms are small. The breakfast was fine and the staff were more than accommodating. I would consider other places if I was in Kings Cross again. However saying all that, you can beat this hotel for location to Kings Cross.
