Simple but convenientPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: Location, Free Internet, price/comfort ratio
Cons: Rooms haven't been renovated for a while. There is no real restaurant if you wanted something late at night.
Location: Close to the Victoria Station, so you should prefer Gatwick, which has a direct train to the station. You can reach many of the London attractions
I stayed at the Comfort Inn Victoria for a few days. It is relatively close to the Victoria train station and the Vistoria Underground. One problem was that there is a major maintenance activity in the area around the station and reaching the hotel or the station is a bit tricky and not trivial. Rooms are spacious and there is a very good free Internet in the room (don't forget to ask for a user ID/passwd per device since it can not be shared between devices). There is no minibar in the room but there is one in the lobby which you can buy drinks from (limited choice). Heating works remarkably well. Simple breakfast available, but no lunch or dinner. However, it is close to the main streets where you can find lots of alternatives to eat at. All in all a good experience for a relatively reasonable price for London.

Hotel in VictoriaPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Its proximity to the local amenities including shops, the coach station and the rail/underground stations
Cons: The reporting system for faults, the internet connection and the problem with the TV signal. Put a chest of drawers in each room as well.
Location: Shopping, each access to rail/underground stations at Victoria.
The hotel was close to Victoria Coach Station and Victoria Rail and Underground stations. It was clean and tidy and the staff were both helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the internet connection at the hotel wasn't that good and I experienced problems when trying to check emails etc. The hotel was clean and tidy but the room (although clean etc) wasn't all that comfortable and the bed was a bit small. There was a 'hanging rail' but no cupboard or drawers in the room. However, the shower was excellent - easy to use and plenty of hot water - and the bathroom was absolutely spotless. The TV didn't work either as there was a problem with the signal and the hotel staff had to call an engineer to fix the problem. There was a problem with the fan in the bathroom too (which was reported to hotel staff) but it hadn't been fixed when we left the hotel yesterday.

Customer service was horrible. Requested a cot via the telephone and when arrived, we were told that there were not any although the people in front of us was able to get one. We asked to borrow from another sister hotel and said that wasn't possible. Also, attendant was very rude to my guests visiting.

Nice location near inner city and subway stop.Posted Aug 28, 2013
Cons: Poor plumbing in bathrooms. Small and inexpensive shouldn't mean toilets and sinks that drip and a shower head that sprays everywhere but down.
Location: Victoria subway just around the corner. Buckingham Palace within walkable distance if you enjoy a nice stroll.
We selected this location solely because it was close to a subway stop and within walking distance from some of the major attractions. It is all that, but nothing more. This is a fine hotel for a young to middle age couple with no children. Difficult for elderly to get around the tiny rooms. Too small and thin walls for loud children. Be open minded if you select this clean, comfortable hotel. Just keep telling yourself: location, location, location!!!

Very convenientPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel locates right next to Victoria Underground Station, 10 minutes walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Lots of restaurants nearby. Also has a local grocery store next to the station. Very convenient. The staffs are very nice and friendly, very helpful. Especially the young lady in the afternoon is really nice and helpful. She is very professional as well. Room is a bit small but pretty clean, bathroom is renovated, free wifi speed is very fast. it is worthy to stay!

Great central locationPosted Jul 29, 2013
Great to have air con in the bedroom in the middle of a London heatwave! Very good range of food in the breakfast room. Simple and yet everything we needed.

so-soPosted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: friendly staff
Cons: bathrooms were not that great. Shower stall showed signs of clacification on the door handle
Location: excellent location in Victoria
extremely small room even to London standards. Breakfast is your typical continental breakfast.
