The London Tara as it always will be

Posted Sep 25, 2014
I have been using the Tara on and off over 30 years and it never fails to remind me that consistency can be gained at different levels, in this case good. The Tara never aims to be anything more than it has been. You are never excited or dissappointed.

Nice hotel with great location

Posted Sep 20, 2014
The hotel looks a little old and dated from the outside, but inside the lobby and rooms were great. The location in Kensington just around te corner from the underground made it super easy to get around town. Plus there were tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. We chose to include breakfast with our stay and the food was good. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable with incredibly nice and helpful staff.

Close to the Albert Hall

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Quiet location, not far from the High Street but because it is in a cul-de-sac no traffic noises whatsoever which is wonderful in the heart of London.
Cons: Thought it was a perfect location for a city break, especially if you were going to the Proms.
Location: You have all the museums within walking distance and Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park at the top of the road.
The room was very comfortable and clean. Beautiful area of London. Tube and buses very convenient. Staff very pleasant. Air conditioning worked and was not at all noisy.
