“Great Location, Very Comfortable Hotel”

This hotel is in one of the best locations of London. Room is very good, but not large. Overall everything worked well. They do have a gym with a few cardio machines that are fairly good, although it is super hot in the gym (may be able to ask for air conditioning - I didn't). I would go back!!!

“Great location”

The staff was very accommodating, even letting us nap in a room before check in time. The service was not oppressive, but was very friendly.

“Loved the location!”

A great cozy and boutique style hotel in the heart of London's shopping district. We loved the location and the fact that it was walking distance from Oxford street. (Corner of Rgent & Oxford) The hotel itself has an interesting history, it used to be a courthouse, and the bar/lounge area is where the actual inmates' cells used to be!! (By the way great ambiance at night) The concierge and the front desk staff members were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The room that we stayed in was an average size room, the bed was comfortable and clean. We will stay there again...

“Great location”

This hotel is very nice and I enjoyed staying there for the most part. It is in a great location near the Oxford Station train. The neighborhood seems safe and had many restaurants. There's a little grocery/convenience store about 1-2 blocks from the hotel if you want to buy snacks or drinks. The room was pretty spacious and the bathroom up to date and nice. We didn't eat in the hotel because it was very expensive. There was a charge for internet, we thought it was free, so we didn't use it. We were very tired upon arriving as we had flown from the USA, and hoped to go ahead and get in our rooms--had to wait to check in until rooms were ready. One was ready on time about 2pm, but the other was another hour or more before we could get in. In room safe was handy. Room was quiet, except could hear people talking outside if window was open.

“FANTASTIC HOTEL!! (but, needs free wifi).”

I've stayed in MANY hotels in London and this hotel is fantastic. The room was a very nice size, with a large bathroom - unusual for London. Hotel is clean and modern with a nice, trendy bar and a restaurant in the lobby. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is unbeatable. Right across the street from the shopping of Carnaby Street and literally steps from the classic Liberty of London and Regent and Oxford Streets. An easy walk to the bars and shops of SOHO and Compton and just a little bit further to the attractions of Covent Garden. Picadilly and the palace are also a relatively short walk as well. The location really is superb. The ONE negative is the lack of free wifi internet. Others have commented on this and I must agree. It IS unbelievable that this hotel does not offer free wifi. That said, you CAN purchase it easily from the front desk of online. And, you can walk across the street and pick up free wifi, with your morning coffee and a nice breakfast, from the Pret A Manger, Starbucks or the pub (forget the name). (HOTEL MANAGER: Please offer free wifi!!) I would very highly recommend this hotel. It is excellent!!!!

“Nice Hotel”

This was a nice hotel in a really good location (the metro was only 2 blocks away and the area was very lively). However, no way does the hotel deserve 5 stars. The rooms were standard... nothing special. I could call this an upper 3-star hotel or low 4-star hotel. We did enjoy our say and service was good. We had a early check-out, and they brought us hot coffee and biscuits, which was a very nice touch. So overall, decent hotel, but not as high as its star ratings would indicate.

“Great Location, Friendly Staff”

We were a family of 4 with 2 small children. The hotel is in a great location for families. Very close to the Oxford circus tube station, Regent street shopping and lot of great restaurants. There are also many grocery stores if you need something for the children. The hotel staff were very courteous. I hope the hotel makes high speed internet access free of charge. Overall, if you are having young children and want to be close to the tube, buses, shopping, groceries and good eatery, you cannot beat this place!!!
