great location but tired room

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: location - very central
Cons: rooms need upgrading
Location: right next to carnaby street and 2mins from oxford circus
checked in early between meetings without any problems but as room was unavailable bag stored with concierge. Sadly night staff were quite dismissive when I returned much later and room was tired and felt quite dated - nothing like the photos on the site. clean enough but not luxurious.

Nice hotel close to west end and Oxford st

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Location: Hotel is right across from Carnaby Street which has lots of lovely pubs and places to eat. It's near Oxford St and 5 mins from Piccadilly/Leicester Sq
Had a 3 night stay at the courthouse hotel for a birthday. When I rang to mention the stay was a present and asked how much an upgrade would cost I was told that a request would be put on system complimentary. We were upgraded to a king room which was pleasing. Hotel and staff are lovely. The only downside was the noise at night. There was a lot of lorry noises from 4am and I'm guessing it was works being carried out in road outside hotel. Also we were on the 6th floor and there was a noise from what may have been the air con unit on the roof. We've stayed at this hotel before when it was Doubletree by Hilton and didn't notice noise, so I think it may have been just bad luck on our part. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Soho location

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: The location. Nice pool in the basement too.
Cons: FREE Wifi in the rooms.
Location: Fantastic shopping, pubs, restaurants, theatres. Close to transit. A top notch location.
I was there on business. I was able to walk everywhere. Awesome location. I would recommend this hotel to colleagues. It should offer complimentary wifi in the rooms though. It's 2014. Everyone needs wifi. Having to go to the lobby for wifi is not always convenient.

Great luxury hotel for central London

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The huge bed, the choice of bars, especially the rooftop terrace and very quiet considering where you are.
Cons: Check in and out was slow, but not to the point of being a problem.
Location: Carnaby Street, Soho, Oxford street, regents street - the heart of London is right outside your doorstep.
The Courthhouse is a lovely building situated right opposite Carnaby Street and adjacent to The Palladium Theatre, there is choice of bars and the rooms are well appointed and spacious.

discreet comfort

Posted Oct 3, 2014
Pros: good experience , convenience
Location: theatre , shopping, and sightseeing
hotel has a discreet front entrance, within five minutes walk of Palladium and in the heart of shopping district. Checkin (and out) was quick and polite and our room on the first floor facing an inner 'well' was amazingly quiet . Room service was quick and food was good if a little expensive. Room was comfortable and clean We enjoyed our stay and the location is worth remembering

Nice boutique hotel fantastic location!

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Location!
Cons: Internet connection. It could be more business friendly!
Location: Literally in the heart of the West End! Off Regent Street just round the corner from Oxford Circus. Walking distance from Picadily Circus and Soho
Very friendly quiet boutique hotel. Excellent central location if you are in London for sightseeing, shopping and dining. Rooms are comfortable clean and quiet. Internet connection was experiencing signal problems which made it difficult to connect and work but the staff have been very accommodating and helpful. Its a London favourite and would definitely go back!
