Great location.Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: The location and staff were great.
Cons: Road noise was an issue but not sure how this could be improved?
Location: Very good location for the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum.
Hotel was very good, staff very friendly and location great. The only downside is the road in front of the hotel is very busy and if your room is at the front it can be noisy, we had to move room to the back which was no problem.

Excellent hotel in lovely part of LondonPosted Apr 12, 2015
A family of four we stayed for 3 nights. The two double beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we stepped through the door. Every member of staff was friendly and chatty. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast service was excellent with a lovely choice in the buffet and on the menu. We will definitely stay here again.

Large but friendly and welcomingPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: The staff were most helpful.
Cons: Not enough flexibility in the bed arrangement in our family room
Location: Brilliantly placed for Tube and museums.
We enjoyed our short stay. The hotel is smart and clean but particularly the staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was very good and not over-priced and we enjoyed the garden too. A very good central London stopover.

Location: Very close to Underground with excellent service...purchase an Oyster Card...great value. Lots of Restaurants and places to eat very near by.
We had to check out of another hotel that was awful. Booked this Hotel on short notice and we arrived we were very well received to very nice hotel, very well located on Cromwell Rd. We were two adults and a child and we were give a lovely room. The included breakfasts in the morning were excellent, a large meal in the self and very good value. Recommend including the breakfast in the Hotel booking.

Excellent hotel in good locationPosted Apr 10, 2015
Lovely hotel with tube station round corner, eating places nearby (Garfunkels is opposite ) we got a recently refurbished room, very nice decor, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Only 2 negatives, toilet roll holder was screwed onto bath panel but when showering the tissue got a bit wet! Nowhere else really to locate it, also iPod on bedside cabinet was dusty, so hadn't been cleaned but these are just minor things. All in all a really nice room overlooking gardens. We found the air conditioning not very good and ended up opening the window on a night. Breakfast was delicious, cereal, fresh juice, fruit, yoghurt, full cooked breakfast buffet - bacon, sausage, fried egg, scrambled egg, beans, mushrooms, tomato, black pudding. then continental choice too, fresh selection of bread and croissants with pastries. Wonderful food, waitresses could have been a little better filling up your tea / coffee had to ask each morning but again this is just a minor issue. Would highly recommend this hotel if planning a trip to London.

Great for MuseumsPosted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Location, style and service
Cons: Air con noisy, room on the warm side
Location: Museums close by (5-10 min walk), Piccadilly Line takes you to most central points (Harrods, Covent Garden, Kings Cross)
Arrived at the hotel for at 10.15am for a 2 night stay, although our room was not ready we were able to check in and leave our bags which was great, it meant that we did not waste half a day of our break waiting around with our luggage. Walked straight to the Natural History Museum, Science and V&A Museum in around 8 minutes. The hotel itself was very clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and very attentive. We stayed in a deluxe double bedded room which slept 4, there was only 3 of us, 2 adults and an 11yr old. The room was very clean and very comfortable, the down side, it was quite warm. The air conditioning was a little noisy so could not be left on at night and the window did not open that much for fresh air. Having said that we still slept and considering that we were in central London it was surprisingly quite, our room 622 was on the 6th floor facing the garden. Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. On checkout we were allowed again to leave our luggage which meant we could have another few hours of sightseeing. Would recommend for a central London break as all the attractions are only a short tube ride away, Gloucester Road tube station is 2 minutes from the hotel. We would definitely stay again.

Great hotel near the Tube on GloucesterPosted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: 2 double beds. Hot breakfast. Responsive wait staff.
This is a great hotel in a quiet area of Kensington Gardens that's within a block of the tube station. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and we had a quiet room on the second floor overlooking the garden. We had been looking for a room with at least 2 double beds (which this hotel has), and were surprised at how few there actually were to choose from that weren't exorbitantly expensive. Breakfast was included with our stay and the food was good, hot, and plentiful. We spent most days traveling to Central London to see the sights, so the proximity to the tube station was a bonus. It's also about a 15min walk to Hyde Park in the other direction which takes you through a small shopping area. All in all we had a great experience here, and would do it again.
