Close to Heathrow airport

Posted Nov 11, 2014
As we had a morning flight, we used this hotel over night. It is close to the Hounslow Central station by Piccadilly line. The room was clean and fine for one night stay.

A Comfortable hotel

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Location: It is close to the airport. There is a downtown commercial street and a supermarket ASDA nearby to shop around. It is too far away from central London
The subway station is nearby. The Piccadilly line is always crowded. The location is far away from central London (e.g. 30 min to South Kensington). It is almost 1 hour to go to Tower of London.

Great for Heathrow

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Stayed for two nights and found this a clean and comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful and good location for Heathrow, a few minutes from underground station. 45 mins to central London. Breakfast was very good but i thought £12 was a bit pricey.

Good Enough

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and location
Cons: Communication with guests on what to expect.
Location: Not much to do nearby at night and no decent restaurants.
Good location and comfortable but had one problem. Nobody explained that to turn on the lights one had to insert the key card into a slot inside the room. We arrived after dark and could not see it that well. Finally figured it out. Poor communication. But the room was fine, clean and met expectations. Also could not find restaurants locally that looked OK so went to a pub up the street.

Room is large and nicely decorated. My disappointment was the twin bed mattress. It is very narrow, and lumpy; you feel the springs!

Easy access to Heathroow but not on the doorstep

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Short walk to high street for restaurants and/or pubs
This was easy to get to on the tube and being in a town had more options for eating out. Dispite being under the flight path and the having the air circulation system on, I slept quite well. Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was expensive for the quality.

Good place for Heathrow

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: Location and rate.
Location: Bulstrode pub is very pleasant
Stayed here for one night prior to my morning flight out of Heathrow. The Tube station is Hounslow Central, about a 5 minute walk, for a 10 minute train ride right into Terminals 1,2,3 and 4. (Terminal 5 is a separate train). Room, bed and bath were spotless, although the bed was a little springy. Although you could hear planes on their final approach, it didn't bother me nor keep me awake. Checkin was efficient, but had to wait until the afternoon to get my room due to turnover of the guests who were checking out. Therefore, don't count on an early checkin if your flight arrives in the morning. The hotel's location is about an hour from central London, so wouldn't recommend staying here if you were trying to see London's sights for the first time, but for my one night prior to leaving it was perfect. There is a pleasant pub next to the Tube station.
