This hotel had friendly, helpful staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. Good free breakfast. Excellent family restaurant called Studebaker's is right next door-best homemade chicken pot pie ever!

Pros: *Kind staff *Clean Hotel *Bathroom in good condition *A computer with intenet was in the lobby and was available Cons: *Coffee maker was not working upon arrival, They changed it for me quickly though.

“Old property, half baked upgrades. Low price says it all”

I took this hotel last weekend for a last minute vacation package to visit family based on the fact it had a 3.9 out of 5, but should have been concerned when it was one of the absolute lowest priced ones available. Some people must have a different standard, but this is no 3.9 hotel. The property is old and tired and has a real mixed bag of upgrades and maintenance, much of which is poorly done. The place needs to be gutted and start over. The bathrooms had some work done to improve the shower tile and got fake granite counters, but the room furniture looked to be the original beat up colonial style from the 1970s when this place was probably built. The bed was comfortable, but you had either electric baseboard heat OR a wall AC/fan thing..so while cold out, I couldn't have heat and a fan to drown out the noise from adjacent rooms/TVs. The TV remotes also were very annoying and slow to respond and big 'ol previous decade RCA tube tv's to boot. Plus, amazingly, they mixed smoking and non smoking rooms on the same floor, so I had to put up with the smoking rooms across the hall. The left side of the hall on the first floor is smoking, right side is not. That makes NO sense. You still smell it all up and down and in your room. There are a lot better choices nearby if you spend a little bit more money. The Hampton Inn for example 1/4 mile down the street I stayed in this weekend instead and it was very very nice. AND you get a free breakfast there, but not here at the Days Inn.

The hotel was clean and everything you would expect from a Days Inn. Friendly, quiet, etc.

“Classless in London”

I scheduled a trip to London for my wife and mother-in-law to go see their Aunt/sister. The day before departure this family member died suddenly and during the process of trying to cancel the hotel reservation I was told by the management at this establishment that they were going to honor the expedia norefund policy... oh and sorry for our loss. I guess death doesn't qualify as "extenuating circumstances". If you plan on staying here good luck considering the management at the hotel doesn't care about anything but getting money out of your wallet.

“Not too shabby”

Room was adequate, hotel was clean, staff was nice, restaurant was good. Good location for what I needed. It was a no frills hotel that met what I was looking for. The fitness room wasn't that great with just a couple of cardio machines. The hotel restaurant had just ok food but the service was good.

“Nice hotel, great location”

The hotel offered the amenities I was looking for at a price that was right. The establishment was well kept and clean in a great neighborhood close to many attractions offered by the city.

“Overnight in London”

Very nice, clean and helpful staff. Unfortunately, they let a party go on near the pool and on the balcony until 2 pm. The next morning they didn't seem to concerned when I raised the issue. To bad. Still a nice place.
