We had a fab night stay, very comfy bed, clean and welcoming. We went to the O2 arena and this hotel is in a perfect spot, just 10 mins away.

Central in Greenwich village

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Spacious room and comfy bed, Central location, will definitely book again
Cons: Only minor point, our visit was during cold spell in May and one window could not be completely shut/ locked which caused a draft near the window
Location: Close to Cutty Sark, the Observatory, transport, the University and restaurnats
Very spacious room and bathroom with loads of shelving for toiletries. Slightly tired bathroom design but clean. Breakfast ample and varied, staff let us use the upstairs meeting area when we wanted to sit and play cards with a couple of friends as the reception area only had huge table not suitable to game of cards.

Superb position

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: I liked the fact that you had an radiator and a window you could open to allow fresh air in - which is a pleasant change not having noisy air con
Cons: I would have preferred 2 pillows and if I had asked would probably have been given an extra one but it was not that big of an issue.
Location: Greenwich park, the Cutty Sark, Observatory, Jamies Italian, Naval college, Martime museum, Painted ceiling, O2 arena, Foot tunnel under the Thames,
This was an amazing hotel for the money - how to stay in london but have the peace and quiet of the countryside. This hotel was so central to everything in Greenwich and just a Thames clipper away from the centre. I did not eat in the hotel so can not comment on the food but the staff and the room were both excellent.

Great location but hotel needs some investment

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Staff were very friendly and helpful but I thought the hotel overpriced. Room was very warm even on a cool night so we needed the fan on all night- no AC. Bathroom very clean but not finished very well with bits coming off shower door. Beds comfy and good breakfast but no gym etc. We knew this before we booked but I thought the hotel may be more luxorious to make up for this.

Great place to stay for Central London

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Everything is fine
Cons: Wildly different room rates, we paid £99 per room, it often goes up to £175, definitelyy not good value then. Good breakfast and reasonably priced too
Location: Next door is Greenwich Park, don't really need to list things to do being only 30 minutes boat ride to Central London!
Great place to stay for Central London only a boat ride away. Good facilities, good value parking, pubs a minutes walk away, what more is there to say

Centenary

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: The staff, the efficiency at check out. The hotel was comfortably warm when coming in from a very cold walk around the town!!!!
Cons: As stated, on the first evening dinner we found the meal very disappointing. This led us to look for alternatives.
Location: This is covered above. Cutty Sark is a great venue. Painted hall old Royal navy building. Royal observatory. Clipper service to central London.
For the purposes of our visit this hotel was perfectly located. The hotel staff very friendly. The dinner on one night was very disappointing. The hotel is perfectly situated for those people who want to explore Greenwich and it's history. Lots to see. There is an excellent service with the Thames Clipper ferries to all stops in central London. We enjoyed our experience, and Expedia did a good job on our behalf.

Convenient to Greenwich museums

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Remove vile overpowering air freshener smell in reception lobby
Comfortable basic hotel conveniently close to Greenwich Park and museums. Also convenient to catch bus not far from hotel for the O2 and miss the crowds travelling by tube.
