Fantastic hotel, great location, top classPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Location, facilities, breakfast, room, comfortable beds, iMac in the room, Wi-Fi internet
Cons: Wi-Fi gets terribly congested
Location: Underground is 2 minutes away, Tower Bridge etc.
It's the Hilton, that's all that needs to be said. Top class as always.

Great location! Opp Tower of LondonPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Location to tube, hotel its self, sky lounge, Just stay there and see for yourself you will not regret it!
Cons: Housekeeping on our second day was not great shampoos not replaced etc but to be fair thats just nit picking
Location: Tower Of London 3 minutes away. All the bus tours 5 min walk, Boat trips 5 mins away, tube stops 3 mins away. Natural Kitchen attached to hotel great
You are close to thwe Tower Hill stop and Fenchurch Stop. So you are on the yellow and green line 6 stops from London Kings cross direct. 3 minutes from the tube eaisest to go to Liverpool street then change and can get pretty much anywhere from there. The tour buses stop just over the road an the free boat trip you get with them is also over the road, which takes you straight down to Downing stree, big ben area. Great hotel, good gym, great room,. great staff. Breakfast so so not worth the £22.50 (We got an upgrade given as it was my birthday so certainley not complaining) Head Breakfast guy not so polite unless you have an American accent then he is all over you, but other than that perfect hotel, also the guy who checked us in was so good as well, such a nice guy and so helpful really set the tone for the stay. The sky lounge has amazing views and well worth a trip to the 12 floor. A;lso great resturant attached called Natural Kitchen amazing Tuna steaks!

great locationPosted Jul 21, 2014
Lovely clean hotel. Great location - 2 minute walk to Tower Bridge. Had computer problem at check in which meant a queue, however the staff were very apologetic and came round with orange juice and cookies for everyone.

A great hotel and location in LondonPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Location, Great staff, Breakfast
Location: Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Tower Hill Tube Station, Hung Drawn and Quartered Pub
The Doubletree Tower of London was an excellent choice for our stay. First - it's run like a true Hilton property - excellent, friendly staff attending to any needs you have. The breakfast was excellent, whether you prefer a traditional English, European or American style. We had a few small issues with air conditioning and the safe, all of which were handled immediately and very apologetically. Second - The location. Walking distance to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and Tower Hill Tube Station, which can connect you with any other site in London. Even though it's in a very busy area - it was quite and comfortable. There are always taxis available outside and all tours will pick you up from here. The Skybar is another plus - an excellent bar with an excellent view. All in all we loved the property and location, and would definitely consider it for future travel to London.

Tower of London:great locationPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Warm cookies offered at check in and fabulous location.
Location: The outdoor rooftop terrace closes too early: at midnight that carriage turns into a pumpkin. What a downer!
After a long trip, we were greeted by Eva and extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional member of the staff. She upgraded us to a bigger room and offered us delicious warm chocolate chip cookies. What a nice touch! The room was modern, clean and simple. We could not have asked for more.

Very enjoyable visit!Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location, professional staff, hearty breakfast.
Cons: Better lighting in the room; a make-up mirror.
Location: See above
Stayed for 8 days over Wimbledon 2014. Great location for the Underground (5 min walk) , the Tower of London and sights along the Thames. The hotel staff were the highlight- extremely polite, helpful (got me a SIM card for my phone, tickets to plays, info on day trips) and well-informed. The room was spacious (by UK standards) and well-equipped (a MAC in every room with free wireless), bed was comfortable and the bathroom surprisingly user-friendly. Enjoyed the large selection at breakfast; kept us going until dinnertime. Would definitely stay there again!

Pros: The environment
Cons: complimentary breakfast would be nice
Location: There are a castle nearby, the tower of London bridge is within walking distance.
The hotel was very nice. The staffs were very welcoming and helpful. The only thing is they charge extra for room service, so stay away from room service!!
