Nice hotel, great location - not for big people

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Room size is hard to change; smaller desk or chair may have helped.
Location: Around the corner from the Marble Arch underground stop, Hyde Park and Oxford street within 2 blocks.
Great staff - friendly and helpful. Room was very clean but small; had to sit sideways at the desk to work. Also, additional charge for wifi in the room; also breakfast was not included.

Centrally located--ground floor room like staying

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Stayed 2 nights with 1 10 year old child. Room was on ground floor which was like staying in a basement dungeon! Had one window which was glazed so that you could not see through it--room dark and NOT pleasant. Paid $1086 for 2 nights with a small breakfast in the further down basement. We have stayed at many Hilton Hotels in the past--this one was definitely NOT like a Hilton. Would NOT recommend!

London - Shopping mini-break

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Ideal hotel for mini-break in London. Just off Oxford St (Marble Arch end). Room was reasonably sized (we had 3 adults in the room & it wasn't a problem). Reception staff & concierge were all very good. Would happily stay here again.

Nice hotel close to Oxford St

Posted Jun 10, 2014
Pros: Clean rooms. Close to Oxford St, Selfridges, and Marble Arch Tube Station
Cons: Would have preferred a better explanation on getting to our room which was in the basement
Location: Close to Oxford St (Shopping) and Hyde Park. Close to the Tube station so can easily get around all areas of London.
Room was very nice & clean but didn't have all the amenities as advertised on their website (fridge & iron/ ironing board). I did report it to the reception staff and they were very good at resolving the issue.

Convenient to everywhere.

The hotel location is very convenient. You can walk to oxford street within a minute. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room is clean but a bit small. I am stay in room 207 which is facing Pullman street so I felt a bit noisy for the room. Overall I have the pleasant stay in this hotel.

Top Notch Location

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Met my needs of comfort, location and convenience.
Cons: The Wi-Fi and charges are shocking and the connection is abysmal.
Location: Everything. Oxford Street, Selfridges and a ton of pubs and restaurants nearby.
Great hotel and centrally located. Meets the needs of all travellers. - Rooms are comfortable. - Staff are friendly. - Walking distance to Central London's Food, Nightlife & Tourist Attractions.

Nice hotel in a great location.

Posted May 21, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The hairdryer wasn't mounted on the wall in the bathroom and it was a bit cumbersome to use. The selection of channels on the tv could be improved.
Location: It was close to our hop on/hop off bus, the tube and a lot of places that we wanted to see. We were able to walk to most places that we visited.
We had heard so many horror stories about how small the rooms in Europe were but we were extremely happy with the size of our room. Not huge but not the "closet" that we were expecting.

Excellent, modern hotel, in the heart of the city.

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: Everything.
Cons: If anything, the bathroom was compact, but by all means more than adequate for a short city break.
Location: Ideal location. Everything is nearby given the close proximity to Marble Arch tube station - nothing is more than 10 mins away.
Excellent experience, from the chocolate cookie on arrival, to check out. The Hotel is recently refurbished having transformed from a Best Western to a Hilton DoubleTree. Porters and reception staff were courteous and eager to help at any opportunity. Having booked a King room, it was initially odd to be in the basement, however, it was fine and our reservations about street noise never materialised. The hotel's location couldnt really be beaten - Literally 100 metres off Oxford Street and 1 block over and 1 block back from the Marble Arch central line tube station. I have and will continue to recommend to others.
