Nice Hotel

Posted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Our room was spacious, clean and warm and the view was exactly as he had stated. I could find no fault
Cons: Nothing that I could see.
Location: There are loads of cafes and a few restaurants near Gloucester Tube Station and of course the National History Museum. We only stated one night.
We arrived I think it was after 4pm to be greeted by a friendly gentleman at reception who as soon as I mentioned my name had everything to hand and immediately told us that we were upgraded to a Delux room that had a view of the National History Museum which was a welcoming surprise and informed us immediately that unfortunately the lift was not working and we were based on the third floor but he could take our bags up to the room for us or if we preferred we could have a double room I presume on the first floor of couse we opted for the delux room and we laughed. Upon climbing the stairs I stopped to rest and one of the cleaners immediately offered to take my bag up the next flight of stairs I asked if he was sure and he said of couse no problem at all. That was nice of him. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location

Posted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location perfect for the Albert Hall and the V&A. Efficient air conditioning in our room - very much appreciated during the current heat wave. Attractive neighbourhood - quiet but near a very lively area with lots of cafes and restaurants. Room comfortable and very clean but would have benefitted from better bedside lighting, and access to the bath was awkward, due to the position of the shower screen. Good value overall.
