Close to kings cross and st PancrasPosted May 5, 2015
Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. Our room was in the basement which was quite noisy as the dining room was above us and the waste water pipes were just outside our room so running water could be heard constantly. It was the last room available, we would book again but not stay in the basement. The staff were happy for us to leave our luggage until the evening so that we could enjoy the rest of the time without having to cart it around with us.

Nice hotel close to British LibraryPosted Apr 27, 2015
Booked this hotel because it was close to the Conference Centre in the British Library. I stayed here with two other conference attendees in a triple room. It was quite a bit smaller than we were all hoping for, but it was very clean and quiet. Breakfast each morning was lovely, just make sure you can get a table or it may be a bit of a wait.

Perfect short stay in LondonPosted Apr 20, 2015
We were delighted with the accommodations and the attention at the George. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful in all respects. Breakfast is great. And the hotel and location is charming and very convenient, just steps from Kings Cross. Great food around the corner. Very friendly neighborhood.

Good HotelPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Close to railway station, delicious breakfast
Cons: Lift should be provided
Location: London is a very good place
I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. The reception and the breakfast is very good. However, I needed to walk upstair with my luggage when getting into and leaving my room, which is quite inconvenient.

Good budget hotel in a relatively quiet crescentPosted Mar 20, 2015
Cons: The view from the basement room window on to a courtyard of rubbish!
Location: Lots of coffee shops in Cartwright Gardens and Marchmont Street
Friendly staff, clean and recently decorated. The shared shower/toilet nearest to room 01 is a little cramped. The room was large and comfortable. The TV and kettle worked. Free WiFi had a good signal.

Good valuePosted Mar 17, 2015
Nice room. Breakfast ok but a bit awkward with staff standing around. I suggest some music and a simpler menu and teach the staff how to deal with cistomees

Small hotel not far from Euston StationPosted Mar 6, 2015
Cons: Get a better receptionist who knows about customer service.
Checked in about 10pm but the receptionist was rude and not friendly. Asked her to book a taxi the next morning and it was too much trouble for her. Small rooms rather jammed into a small building. The wifi was slow.

Nice hotel in central LondonPosted Mar 5, 2015
Having to stay in central London for a conference this hotel was within walking distance of both the station and the conference location. The staff were very helpful and the room was quite modern, clean and comfortable, better than expected given the location and price. The hotel serves a good breakfast but no evening meal although as there are many nice restaurants at a variety of prices in the neighbourhood this was not a problem. A very pleasant stay.

Great location, nice hotelPosted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Great location, very clean.
Cons: Serving breakfast till later.
Location: Some cool cafes and restaurants round the corner, including a Costa Coffee. Then more shops and restaurants in the busier area about five minutes away
This is a well-situated hotel, very close to King's Cross St Pancras and the shopping area that surrounds it. There are also some nice little restaurants and cafes right round the corner from the hotel, if you don't want to wander to far. The hotel itself is on a quiet street along with other converted hotels. Inside, the hotel is clean if a little compact. The staff are friendly and they included a free breakfast in my room rate, but I didn't try it. There is no lift, so I did have to carry my suitcase are two flights of stairs but this was a small price to pay for such a comfortable, clean room. I booked a single room, which had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and an ensuite, with the normal toiletries provided. The ensuite was lovely, modern and very clean. The room was very small, but I didn't care as the facilities and cleanliness were more important to me. Quite a good price too, it worked out at about fifty pounds a night and one of those nights was a Saturday!

fix the wireless, please!Posted Feb 19, 2015 on Hotels.com
I stayed in a weird little room, 'C', which had to be heated with help of a space heater. That was okay, and overall it was a good room and value. But, unfortunately, the wireless barely worked the entire week that I was there, only on the last two days, and even that was intermittent. So that was a problem; otherwise I was fairly satisfied.
