Not very clean - nothing looks like the photo

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Front desk people very nice and efficient
Cons: Clean and brighten the hotel.
Location: Very good location - lots of nice, small restaurants nearby. Very walkable.
Good location, good internet - but very crowded, noisy, dingy, environment. Cleaning is very superficial - rugs desperately need a shampoo. Bed uncomfortable.

Great hotel in a great location

Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: good size rooms for central London. The housekeeping staff were excellent. Particularly liked that we had a microwave and fridge in the room.
Cons: I have no negative comments re the hotel
Location: Perfect location close to two of the major tube lines. Plenty of shopping, pubs and restaurants in a 2 block radius. Walk to Nothinghill/Portabello
the hotel was just what we wanted - clean, comfortable and in a great location

Ordinary

Our room was quite ordinary - nothing like the pictures. Grubby around the edges. Feel a bit ripped off.

Great location, ok service

Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: Don't call it "luxury" if you don't offer luxury service. Say hi to guests and smile - these little things go a long way.
Studio with 2 single beds had plenty of space for 2 people and our luggage. It was convenient to have the bathroom in a separate area from kitchen and bed. Location of this hotel is in a quiet area, but a 5 minute walk and you're in the bustle of everything: 2 tube stations, grocery (Tesco, M&S in Whiteleys, Sainsbury), restaurants (Chinese, Middle Eastern, Russian and more), entertainment (bowling alley, ice rink by Queensway station, pubs). I was a little disappointed with the service because I felt like they were just doing the bare minimum. Room was clean at check-in, but the daily cleaning was only the bathroom, changing towels and making the bed. They don't wash dirty dishes, put away clean dishes, wipe crumbs off counters, refill tissue, replace used toiletries. Hotel staff were just ok, not friendly and not unfriendly either. Again, I felt like the effort was just the bare minimum. For example, at check-in they tell you how to get to your rooms, but don't tell you breakfast times, where the breakfast room is, the lobby computer service fees. When I asked for a car to the airport, they called one for me, but didn't tell me the price. I found the night front desk staff a little friendlier, in that they actually smile and say hi to you!

Good budget hotel, excellent location

Posted Mar 28, 2014
Cons: Staff members politeness and a simple smile on their faces to be a but more warm welcoming
The location and quality of the facilities were great however the staff weren't as pleasing as the hotel itself. Our heater in our room was temperamental and didn't work consistently. I took this up with reception and was treated in a demeaning manner as if I didn't know how to operate a heater. A staff member was later called to my room, the blonde haired woman walked in without a word, flicked the switch off on the heater and stormed out saying "it works now". It didn't work all night and the way she treated the situation was highly disrespectful. I greeted the staff member in a nice manner but didn't get it back. So our room was basically cold for the 4 days we were there.

Good location and nice apartments

Posted Mar 24, 2014
Nice apartments it was just the noise that was a bit of a nuisance, lots of load voices and banging all around no matter which apartment we were in but apart from that they were fine.

Nice hotel, but not as close to Paddington........

Posted Mar 18, 2014
I can't say I found much difference between this serviced apartment and a hotel. This was a great place and the staff were very helpful. We were upgraded to a courtyard room which was very quiet. The room was large with 2 doubles and a dining area for 4. I would recommend this place for a short or long stay. My directions suck so it wasn't as close to Paddington station as I thought, but the staff arranged our transfer to Paddington at a cost of £10 - which I found reasonable but haven't spent a lot of time in taxis in London.

Great price for the facilities and location

Posted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: Location, price, space.
Cons: Time to redecorate soon.
Location: Loads of international restaurants, supermarkets, a shopping mall with cinema, ice rink, bowling, tube stations.
A well located apartment, yes, maybe slightly out of the heart of London, but, 3 stops on the tube and you're in Oxford Circus. Two tube lines are both less than 10 minutes walk away, and the Bayswater area is great. The apartments are in a lovely quiet area, but just a few minutes walk and you're in the heart of lively Bayswater. The apartments are spacious for the price and well equipped. A very minor point would be that some of the decor is starting to look in need of a spruce up, but everything was clean and generally well presented. We loved the freedom to eat out at any one of dozens of cafes nearby - every nation is represented - or pop into the local Sainsburys to grab some things to cook up in the kitchen. Recommended!
