Great location but watch the taxesPosted Jun 9, 2013
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Small rooms (no sitting space) and the added taxes at check in.
Location: Great location close to the British Museum and within walking distance of the West End
Small clean comfortable rooms without sitting areas but a good breakfast. Total cost cited as $412 Australian Dollars when booking via Expedia however the hotel was much more expensive due to a 60 pound tax slug at check in! At $650 Australian Dollars for 2 nights it does not represent good value for money. If you are going to spend that amount then try the nearby Russell Hotel or the Hilton at Euston as options.

January 2014 - one nightPosted Jan 15, 2013
The room is small but if you travel alone and don't stay more then a couple of nights it is fine.

The heat is onPosted Feb 20, 2012
This hotel is in a prime location, convenient to walk to most major attractions. There are lots of good cafes nearby and we managed to find a gem for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. We complained about someone smoking in their room - the smoke was filtering onto the corridor outside our room. The room was small but adequate. It was at the back of the hotel and quiet. The main issue which we raised as we left, was the unbearable heat! There was no relief from it and the bathroom was like a sauna.

Nice, Conveniently-Located London HotelPosted Sep 6, 2011
The Grange Blooms is easy access to the tube via the russell square stop, which makes it easy to get to from Heathrow and opens up much of London to you. The hotel is also (literally) right next to the British Museum, and is a 20 minute walk from Leicester square. In fact, if you're up for walking, the hotel's location is hard to beat. As for the rooms, they are smallish, but that is normal is London to my understanding. The hotel staff was nice enough, and the restaurant is just ok. I wouldn't recommend eating at the restaurant unless you really don't want to walk or tube to a better one.
