Too old too noisyPosted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: It's very clean and this I truly applaud the hotel.
Cons: A facelift is due - the hotel is more than worn out.
Location: Central and very convenient.
I was given an upgrade (imagine what it could've been); anyway, yes, the upgrade was to a conjoined room separated by a makeshift divider that didn't reach the ceiling. So I hear the phone ringing throughout the night. I guess my disappointment stem from the fact that it's advertised to be a 5 star hotel - with the phone ringing, I could hardly see any star.

Really nice hotelPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The checking out was quite early at 1100hrs. Also a chaotic checkout system.
I had a fantastic, large room with a balcony which was all much more than I expected. A stone's throw from Tower Hill tube and by the fantastic old streets of the City it is really well placed. A nice modern hotel with great gym facilities and a large pool in the basement. I only stayed one night and I did not have breakfast but a really good hotel from what I saw. Checkin is quite late at 1500hra and checkout unusually early at 1100hrs. Also the Reception is a circular area in the middle of the foyer which did not help the checkout process - lots of guests trying to leave at once but the position of the checkouts meant queues couldn't form so it was chaotic and disorderly. The milling crowd then blocked the route to the lifts meaning people had to keep pushing through. A real messy process! But that was the only down side.

Good position for sightseeingPosted Sep 9, 2013
Cons: Earlier check in, say 1 pm to 2pm without extra charge. Nice to get showered and changed after a long journey to go to a matinee etc.
Location: Good to do riverside walks and near tube station.
Superior room with a view of a concrete wall and sad, tired bedding.

Amazing hotelPosted Sep 5, 2013
Pros: The friendly staff, the rooms and the location.
Location: This hotel is very centrally located. There are many attractions within walking distance and it's located close to an Underground (tube) station.
We booked this hotel for our 2 night stay prior to starting our tour and having to move to another hotel (Jury's Inn in Islington....UGH!, avoid that one like the plague!) that was provided by the travel company. The Grange Hotel was everything you expect from a hotel; courteous staff, nice rooms (a little small but very nice), central location and a spa. I would suggest this hotel to everyone headed to London. Be warned though that it is FAR from Heathrow International and you will have to take the tube to get to it but it is located close to a tube station so that's not an issue.

Good Hotel in Great LocationPosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is about 2 min walk to tower bridge and the London Tower. The rooms are small but cosy. Swimming pool was great but does get busy with office workers before and after work. 2 problems I had. 1st was my room window looked out onto the tube train station platform. 2nd was that for a 5 star hotel the pool should stay open later.

Very nice accommodations. Large room. Great locatiPosted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: Location. Room size. Pool. Staff
Location: We were right next to Tower of London, St Katharine docks (where we took the boat to Greenwich) and the east end restaurants and spitafield markets
Family of four with two teens fit very comfortably in the executive twin. Great location right near tube stop east end markets and restaurants. Close walk to borough market across tower or london bridge. Nice pool and very helpful staff. I would stay here again!!
