We enjoyed a lovely stay at the property, chosen for its proximity to the Royal Albert Hall.
Reception staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome.
The room was clean and had everything we needed for a nights stay.
Location was perfect, within walking distance to Hyde Park, the Royal Albert Hall and Knightsbridge (Harrods).
The lounge area was very comfortable - a perfect cosy spot on a winters day.
The only slight disappointment was experienced at breakfast. Our waitress (who was lovely) unfortunately took down our order incorrectly (allergy related). When she brought out our food, I noticed straight away mine was incorrect she placed my husbands plate down and took mine away quickly. It was only then we noticed my husband’s order was missing an item. No one was around to tell so, not wanting his food to get cold he started to eat. When we did have opportunity to tell another member of staff (who was wearing a different uniform to the waitresses) he was missing an item, she was aggressive, said that we should have notified our waitress as she brought it to us (we explained we’d not had chance as she took mine away so quickly) and then proceeded to very loudly say ‘What do you want me to do about it? Tell me what you want’ It was all very embarrassing and completely unnecessary - it wasn’t a big issue but she was rude and made us feel so uncomfortable we told her not to worry about it.
Everyone and everything else was lovely.
