Lovely hotel near the Tower Bridge

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: clean, modern, large rooms; wonderful bathrooms with a fantastic shower and tub; friendly, helpful staff
Location: The Grange is near The Tower of London, The Tower Bridge and the Thames Pier....walk..no need to take the tube or a bus to the sites!
The Grange Tower Bridge is a friendly, helpful , and lovely hotel near the Tower Bridge in London. We were weary from our trip. The lovely lady readily us checked in ,and we were even given our room early. The rooms are large, modern, and pristine. The bathroom had a world class shower along with a beautiful soaking tub. I booked it through Expedia, and I think I received one of the best deals ever...

We loved your hotel, very stylish and well designed. I particularly liked the artworks. Other than that, comfortable rooms, great bathrooms. Couldn't ask for more.

Airport Transfer ripoff

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Location near the tube.
Cons: The price of breakfast should be halved.
I would like to point out that the rate quoted by the concierge for an airport (Heathrow) taxi transfer at 68 GBP was almost twice what we obtained from British Airport Transfers. Our ride was smooth and the operator helpful for the sum of 36 GBP on a busy Monday morning. Be aware!

Really nice hotel near Tower of London

Posted Jun 13, 2014
The hotel was quite nice--modern, large room, very good breakfast, with health club and pool, near the Tower of London. You can walk along the Thames past a variety of lovely bridges, the Globe (Shakespeare Theatre) and the London Eye and the Tate Modern. They are still building in that area so don't expect a charming street such as the ones in Marylebone or Knightsbridge. In exchange for being a bit out of the very center of the city, you get a larger room, health club, spa and pool. And you can get everywhere in central London from there, either by taxi or tube.

One Night Stay

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: Customer Service amazing
Location: Great location. Short walk to the dock with loads of restaurant options.
Great Hotel and service. We stayed here for one night after our Civil Marriage and it was amazing. They upgraded our room with a great view and even gave us a complimentary cheese cake. Will visit again and can only say good things about the hotel. Jaz

Great hotel, convenient location.

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: It was luxurious and spacious.
Location: Tower Bridge and Tower of London were about two blocks. We also walked to London Bridge and along the Thames. Close the public transportation.
Very plush! The Grange Tower Bridge Hotel was within walking distance to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge where you can pick up a city sight-seeing bus or public transportation. There was a great restaurant/pub just across the street from the hotel. Within several blocks, there were grocery stores for snacks and forgotten toiletries plus restaurants. We stayed here after a trans-Atlantic cruise. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic hotel

This was a fantastic hotel with everything needed for my stay. The room was a good size, large bathroom with bath and shower, lovely toiletries and very immaculately presented. I ordered room service for dinner which arrived promptly and the food was very good. Great choice on the menu. I also used the spa for two treatments and again the staff were very polite and friendly. Will definitely be using this hotel again when in London, the location is a few minutes walk from the tube station with plenty of shops and caf├ęs in the surrounding area. And best if all it was a great price for such a high quality hotel.

Watch pool times for families, beds a bit hard.

Posted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: Clean. Gym had free weights.
Cons: They could treat families better.
Location: 5 minutes walk from Tower Hill tube and the Tower of London.
We found the hotel was meant for business customers. But we booked for the pool during midweek over the Easter holidays. The kids were allowed to swim between 10-12 and 2-4pm. I had not noticed this when booking. It was a great shame and the kids were in tears. If clashed of course with all the sightseeing we had planned and tickets we had pre booked. Such a great shame there is not even a half hour opportunity to use these facilities during the early morning or evening. I complained to 3 members of staff including the duty manager. They all talked an enormous amount about policy and their business customers (who were a huge priority). One other customer overheard and having a 12 year old daughter told us that she agreed with us (without being asked). Even if the pool were completely empty at 9.30pm to 10pm or very early morning we would not have been allowed to get in. We felt rather discriminated against to be honest. In the end we missed half a days sightseeing to swim which seemed like a waste of time as we could swim at home, but we had promised the kids (they love swimming). Unfortunately the bed was very hard and I woke up at 4am thinking about the pool situation!!!! Apart from these two things this hotel was lovely! (We didn't try the food though).
