great valuePosted Mar 2, 2014
Pros: really helpful friendly staff. god value on food and drink. good value overall.
Cons: better tv signal with free view
Location: 5 min walk to the underground and also 5 min to primrose hill (view of london) where you can continue to london zoo/regents park
good hotel near Camden. really friendly, helpful staff with good rooms. TV didn't have great picture but watchable (plus i wasn't there to sit in and watch TV!) and beds could of been more comfortable but still had a good night sleep. the bar was very reasonable and there had a really nice breakfast in the morning too.

Better than a kip in a skipPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Its location.
Cons: See above.
Location: Camden, Chalk Farm, The Roundhouse, The park and London Zoo is close too.
Nice enough staff unfortunately the TV was pure snow and unwatchable, the shower was cold and the toilet didnt flush so I tried not to be there at all - which kind of defies the point of paying for somewhere to stay. especially at the price.

3 plus for the price of fourPosted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: Location is good.
Some walk from underground, however it's a good neighborhood. Nice place to stay for 2-6 nights. Recommend to families with children, on a budget.

Hotel in LondonPosted Jan 4, 2014
Room was adequate and clean. Curtain not hung properly over windows giving the room a scruffy appearance. Basement room smelled musty.

Good location and good value for London.Posted Jan 4, 2014
Cons: See review
Location: Check out all Camden has to offer. See what bands are playing at The Fiddlers Elbow. Chill out and eat around Primrose Hill. Do this all on foot.
Good points are location, handy for Camden market or The Fiddlers Elbow, a great live music pub. Good value, was cheaper than the nearest Premier Inn hotel which is a bit further from Camden. Also the parking was much cheaper too (£10 for 24 hours) The whole hotel is old fashioned but the rooms are large and had ample storage space . The radiators were on full when we arrived and it felt like a sauna but turning them down soon regulated the temperature. The bathroom would draw most criticism because in places the grout between the tiles was black. The rest of it was clean albeit old fashioned again. In keeping with the good value theme, the room service menu was cheaper than any that I`'ve seen in London but I didn't get the chance to try it. The other thing I would prefer is credit card style room keys rather than the metal key on a massive keyring idea because if reception is busy You have to wait to collect your room key, although this never actually happened during my stay. Overall compared to others in London, this hotel offers good value if this is the area of London you would like to stay.

Very disappointing roomPosted Jan 1, 2014
Room was not very clean. We were told by the evening receptionist that there were no hair dryers, although later the day staff told us that there should have been one in a drawer. Only 1 bath towel in a room for 2 people. No bolt lock or chain lock on the door. Moldy smell, dingy sheets, and dirty bathroom. Our room was in a basement area of the hotel. Wifi signal was very weak; only one of our devices connect to it.

rooms are fine, but tired. Bathrooms are fine, clean but in serious need or repair.
