Nice hotel but SMALL rooms...

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Nice hotel, easy access to the train station (30 min to central London) but the rooms were very small. Wasn't a really big deal because we spent most of the day out and about. But at times it was difficult to move because the luggage got in the way. also, the closet door was the same as the bathroom door. The staff was great!!!

Short business trip

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location for my work
Cons: Staff approach to customers...
Checkin staff seemed preoccupied. Told me I had reserved a disabled room... I told the chap I did not think I had neither did I need one... this did not persuade him to put me in any other room.

Great hotel close to everything.

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Great rooms and staff
Cons: Gym was small
Location: Excellent
16 min by train to Victoria train station in Central London. If you want the convenience to stores pubs and shopping this is it. Train station is 1 min walk. The shopping mall is unbelievable and cheap. Cheaper than USA. Pubs walking distance where beer is 2.5£. Chinese buffet all you can eat 6£. I could not of been happier choosing this hotel. The breakfast was outstanding.

Great hotel within a short commute to London

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The facilities are clean, modern, and unlike most hotels, the internet works and is included in the price. The hotel is also a good place to eat.
Cons: If there could be a bit more transportation information available that would be helpful, especially for local trains and buses.
Location: There was really not much in Croydon to keep me in town.
This hotel is located about an 18 minute train ride from the London Bridge Underground station. The site is well maintained, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the extras that come with the room, eg. WiFi, air conditioning ect are all part of a great package. I would highly recommend choosing this hotel if you are visiting London and want an affordable but safe and clean location.

Nice hotel on a quiet street

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Location: The Whitgift Shopping Centre is only steps away. Marks and Spencer, Waterstones, and many other stores are there.
The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to the East Croydon station where there are frequent trains to Victoria and St. Pancras. For those coming or leaving by Eurostar, it is a breeze. There are also buses to Heathrow and trains to Gatwick. The hotel room is big enough for a very comfortable stay. Hotel staff we met everywhere was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again next time when we come to London.

Nice hotel with reasonable price

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Close to Croydon East train station Nearby bus stops
Location: A large nearby shopping centre
I stayed in the hotel for nine nights and enjoyed my stay there very much. Transport to and from the hotel is convenient with train station and bus stops nearby. Despite being near the train station and shopping/business centre, it is in a quiet surrounding. At night when I returned to the hotel by taxi, I could recognize the hotel by its prominent sign from a distance. The staff was very helpful.

Excellent choice for visiting London

Posted Aug 19, 2014
It is true that the hotel is a 3 minute walk from the train station and a 15 minute ride into London's Victoria station. Trains are very frequent as I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a train. Very safe- was travelling alone. Hotel is very comfortable and has all the services you would need.

Nice hotel near underground station

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: great value for money
Cons: some staff need to improve their intelligence
Location: big mall nearby makes it more convenient to stay.
very good hotel service incuding free continental breakfast, free wifi, free temporary luggage storage. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Facility is good. A underground day travel pass of 9 pound a day (from 9:30 am to 4am everyday )would solve the problems of a little far away from the city centre .Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from East Croydon train station where Underground train of 20 minutes will bring you to Victoria station (London centre) at a frequent of a few minutes.
