Excellent hotel in every way.Posted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: It's size. Location. The staff. The swimming pool was large, and under used (Thank Goodness) I could really swim my laps with ease.
Location: Right in the midst of the theatre district. Walking distance to everything,
They sent a car to fetch me from the airport. They met every demand I made with charm and expediency. A superb hotel.

Great location for New YearPosted Jan 2, 2014
Hotel, perfect to enjoy the New Years experience and then retire from the rain for the warmth and comfort of drinks in the library.

Top servicePosted Dec 6, 2013
Luxurious without excess or tacky circus. Top location, top service, excellent breakfast. I left a computer part in my room, and they mailed it to me next day. Not bad at all. Will have to come back.

Fantastic staff and hotelPosted Nov 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Upon arrival the minute I stepped out of the car the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us but without being over fussy. The check in was fine our room wasn't quite ready but we where slighty early. It was my partners birthday so the reception treated us to a complimentary drink in the fantastic bar. Once in the room (room 6) it was well kept and a good size room with a massive bed. The bathroom again fantastic with double sinks walk in shower and best of all the bath tub with the tv built into the wall. This hotel is classy without going over the top with gadgets and daft lighting. The location is excellent 2 minutes walk to liecester square, Trafalgar Square and soho. All in all this is a fabulous hotel and when staying in London again I will try and book the haymarket

Firmdale - boutique hotels.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Friends have told us to use this group and its the first time we have done. Pleasantly surprised. Modern decor by renowned interior designer Kit Kemp creates a stylish and impressive arrangement of public spaces and very comfortable luxury rooms. Our room was very spacious, had every facility you would expect of a proper 5 star suite, and was frankly faultless. We have gone for top 5 star old style well know London hotels before - but Firmdale is a new force in the luxury market and we were impressed. Food in Brumus restaurant very good. Swimming pool in basement is a great facility in the Haymarket. Staff well trained and very friendly and attentive. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend highly. We shall be using Firmdale group again. With Haymarket, depends if you want to be close to Trafalgar Square and National Gallery.

A GREAT PLACEPosted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
I chose the hotel because of the high ratings and very convenient/central location. I was surprised how a "business" hotel felt so comfortable for.my family and me. Room was well attended...concierge helped explain in-town transportation and made accurate recomendations about restaurants and shows. The library was a great parlor and I enjoyed the bar there as well as the chess set where my daughter beat me with some regularity. The gym was small and needs a wider variety of equipment but on the plus side it was adjacent to a large and under-utilized indoor pool which was great. The breakfasts via room service were excellent as well. Hotel restaurant was as good as any place in the district. Pricey to stay here but this will be my next hotel in London.
