Pros: THE STAFF ONLY
Cons: MAKE A HILTON CHAIN HOTEL, WITH QUALITY AND SERVICES.
Location: NOTHING NEAR READ THE COMMENT.
The hotel is located on a road, with nothing near, only a TGI Fryday's and a gas station, you would have to walk or take a taxi, the near train station is EAST CROYDON, wich you can buy travel cards and oysters cards to ride on trains and subway underground london, but to get on east croydon is NOT NEAR, specially if you do carry you own luggage, taxis cust you each way around 8.00 GBP, you have right way 16.00 GBP to get on east croydon. My stay was everything BAD, i did not expect this from a HILTON hotel chain, my telephone did not work, as well my tv, the heating room was cold, they had to move to another room, this time it was ok, but breakfast, for 17.50 GBP, and they did not even have hot chocolat??, it is a joke, you pay and do not have the very most single breakfast drink. The restaurant we did have dinner, another MINUS, NEGATIVE, the fillet was not fresh, and for the price just guess?, the ONLY good food is from the bar and room service, not a full menu but good, good only untill 10:00 pm, after that no more food, sorry to say this was one of my worst stay in the UK, and croydon area, next time i will look for something on east croydon. For last I DID NOT AUTHORIZE, the hilton hotel to charge my credit card, for the room, i did reservation, and would pay all with another credit card, expedia has business with this issue too, because it is clear PAY AT THE HOTEL, not charge with no athorization, and i did say when i check inn, EXPEDIA what is going on?

Pros: Size of room, breakfast buffet
Cons: Still don't understand why Hilton hotels are always cheaper on Expedia than on their own website!
I have stayed many times at the Croydon Hilton over the past 20 years and continue to feel its the pick of the hotels in the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although a greater variety of TV channels would be appreciated (Sky Sports anyone?) The breakfast is outstanding. My only complaint is that the king beds seem to have a very thin mattress which is not the most comfortable for those of us of a bigger build!

Cons: CLEANLINESS AND STAFF ATTITUDE
Location: lots near by in walking distance
Hotel is one of best i have stayed in, just one point to make rooms are little scruffy and things don't work like the bathroom locks and showers come out wall a little odd but apart from this the facilities are good, its very overpriced when next door the carvery etc is cheaper. 12 pounds for 2 drinks is little overpriced and was embarrassing as staff were a little rude. overall nice stay, price was excellent

For a Hilton you would expect more. Room size was okay, but carpets were filthy and bathroom walls also had dirt on them. Only positive was the fact the bed sheets were clean.
