“Great waterfront hotel”

Though the hotel was a bit far from London proper, the watershuttle enabled us to see all of London very easily. The hotel staff was absolutely fabulous. Thee staff were efficient and knowledgeable. The rooms were a bit small, but comfortable. After all, when you are travelling, you don't spend much time in the room. We would definitely go back.

“Idealy placed for Thams Clipper Service”

The staff were very polite and helpfull, we used the Thames Clipper Service and there is a pick up point right outside the hotel which can take you up to the Millenium Wheel or down to Greenwich.

“Pleasantly surprised by the canal locks.”

The Hilton London Docklands may be a bit out of the way, but the service and quality more than make up for it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is built on an old canal lock near the London Docklands, directly across from Canary Wharf. Though it's a bit removed from the rest of London, there's a courtesy shuttle that will take you to the underground station at Canada Water. From there you can get the Underground that will take you anywhere in London as well as the national rail stations. There's also a ferry that will bring you across the Thames to the river boats that run about every 15 mins. The room was clean on arrival and a bit cramped, but for the price I didn't mind. The hotel menu is very good, and there's a good Thai restaurant down the street. The hotel has a spa (The Amethyst) and a gym. With a room upgrade you will receive a free breakfast, so upgrade if you can. Even though it's a bit off the beaten track, this is a hotel I was very happy to find. When I find myself in London again, I will be sure to stay here if I can.

“Would Go Back”

Spacious room by Europe standards (been to Paris 24 years ago). Had a family suite, 3 of us, 2 rooms (no kitchen) queen and 2 doubles, could have accomodated 4 or 5 comfortably. Very reasonable price through Expdeia. Not much closet/bureau space, though. Clean, had balcony facing city (hotel is on river in East part of London). If any drawback, only 1 pub, no shops, etc. w/in walk distance, but spent time sightseeing, so didn't matter that much (did our eating, etc. before going back). Would stay there again and recommend heartily.

“An absolute pleasure.”

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. We had a room overlooking the Thames and i would strongly reccomend getting similar. The room was very comfortabel and clean. No noise throughout the night or day for the entire 4 day stay. Every member of staff was extremely helpful and very polite. They made my wife and i feel very welcome. It was my wife's 40th and cards and flowers were in the room upon arrival as asked for. The breakfast buffet was very well organised with plenty of choice and good quality too. The shuttle bus to Canada Water tube station was very handy, especially going until 11.30pm and free! We would definately reccomend this hotel. Excellent.

“Great way to celebrate our 39th Wedding Anniversary!”

Even now, I cannot believe what great value this was. Impossible to fault our stay and being on the Thames Clipper network was a real bonus. What a great way to see the greatest city on the planet - by boat.

Excellent hotel, would go back anytime we were visiting the capital. The views of Canary Wharf at night where spectacular and with the complementary shuttle bus from Canada Water underground station to the hotel we simply couldn't find a fault.

“Great area for staying with family.”

This hotel was a really convenient base for us going into London for our weekend. It is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, with a very good children's playpark immediately opposite. There are bus connections to Canada Water underground station, and all the way to Victoria, or you can use the free ferry service for hotel guests to go over to Canary Wharf. Hotel was comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful.
