“Gatwick Hilton is a disgusting hotel.”

Where can I begin? The hotel room was dirty. The room was full of dust. The walls were dirty. The bathroom had stains all over the floor. The air conditioning vent hummed all night. I think it was the elevator motor. It sounded like a fog horn. There were 2 tissues in the box in the bathroom. There was one tiny bottle of bath gel. The only reason to stay there is that it is attached to the airport. I will probably be sick all week because I stayed there.

“Most helpful staff Convenient location for trains and planes!”

My husband and I received outstanding help from the hotel staff from finding a doctocr, to trains and activities in London. The concierge desk is second to none! We loved being able to take the train in to London and walking to our plane without the need for a cab.

Getting around

It is great to have a home base with a train station and an airport for all kinds of side trips.

“Not impressed”

I got stuck in the elevator going to my room on the second floor. The rooms were dingy and lacked amenities (ie; hair dryer, free wifi) that you would expect from a Hilton. The doors were scratched and the paint on the walls was peeling. The bed was also hard. The lack of attention to detail was more than apparent.

“So Convenient!”

THIS HOTEL WAS WONDERFUL. IT WAS LOCATED INSIDE THE AIRPORT AND MADE TRAVELLING SO MUCH EASIER, ESPECIALLY WITH OUR 3 MONTH OLD BABY. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND QUIET. IT WAS BETTER THAN THE PLACE WE HAD STAYED FOR THE PAST 6 NIGHTS IN LONDON. WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!

“Airport convenience”

This is the 2nd time I stayed at the Hilton (Gatwick airport). Both times I Found my room to be very clean and comfortable and the hotel has several restaurants and lounges within and is very convenient to airport check in (a short walk that is all enclosed).

The place was nice. Clean, neat, and a nice TV. Bar was nice, they had several beers on tap (well this is London).

“Don't waist your money”

The hotel and rooms are in need of a face lift. Well worn everything. But if you really have an urge for a 28 dollar hamburger it is the place to go.
