Conveniently located, comfortable hotel

Posted Apr 9, 2014
I spent just one night at this hotel before a long flight to the US. The room was comfortable, there was an easy bus connection to the terminal and very importantly, breakfast was served from 5am which was great before an early morning flight. Overall, a good experience.

Not good value

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: Location…or so I thought
Cons: Better concierge service and more reasonably priced restaurant
Restaurant is quite pricey and not good value. Had to take a taxi from T4 to T1 at 4.00 am and there was no shuttle. Conceirge forgot to confirm my taxi and I almost missed my flight! There are better options nearby

Disappointing

Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: Its proximity to Heathrow. It would be the primary reason to recommend it.
Cons: Make up mirrors in the room. Better pressure in the shower.
Location: Don't know, I was there to catch a plane.
The room was nice however, I would have liked a makeup mirror provided. The shower didn't have much pressure. I was not pleased that at check-in I was charged an additional fifty pounds against any incurred expenses. I had a 6:30AM wakeup call which was not made. If I didn't always travel with an alarm clock, I might have missed my flight by oversleeping.

Handy for Terminal 4

Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Convenience and comfort.
Cons: Breakfast at a reasonable cost.
Reasonably quite and comfortable hotel connected to Heathrow T4 by covered walkway. Check out the car parking rate, it seemed cheaper than the off-airport ones. Breakfast was a bit pricey so I skipped it and ate in the Terminal.

Great location!

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: The hotel has a nice bar area and a number of restaurants. The rooms are very clean, well presented and a comfortable size.
The Hilton is located about a 5 minute walk (through a covered walkway) from Terminal 4, has excellent facilities and the staff were all courteous, helpful and polite. Our flight was from Terminal 3, but by using the Heathrow Express from Terminal 4, a short 10-15 minute ride, we were there!

Pleasant but expensive

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Perfectly lovely hotel but not worth £200+ per night. I found it comfortable enough but my business partner did not have a great night sleep due to bed and pillows. Food good but costly. Parking also costly. I have not rebooked to stay here for the next conference as it would cost over £750 for 3nts and there's nothing special enough about it to justify that imho. Not even a biscuit in the room nor could we use the fridge to keep things cool. Pleasant enough but unless you get a good deal I can't necessarily recommend it. Sorry.

Run Down and overpriced hotel

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Its location to Heathrow T4 is convenient as it is less then 5 minutes walk and is connected to the main airport building by covered walk way.
Cons: The lifts, the rooms, the restaurant, the gym. All areas in my view require considerable renovation.
Location: None.
I booked the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Hotel as it very close to Heathrow T4. I had an early check in and London transport was on strike, so it seemed the safest option. At over £250 for one night, I considered it expensive, even in London, but Hilton does have a reputation for high standards and I wanted the convenience of the location. On arrival the hotel reception, staff did not have the room I had requested. The room itself was clean and tidy buy run down and almost shabby. After checking in I went to the main restaurant and was told I would have to wait over an hour for dinner, although it looked half empty. The only option was to use one of the secondary restaurants in the reception area where the food was bland and overpriced. The elevators to access the gym were blocked off, although I was not advised of this, even though I had specifically asked staff where the gym was. It was a long walk, down fire escapes, to the basement, with no signposts. The gym equipment itself was run down. There are far better quality, better priced hotels around Heathrow - some a bit further out but usually with a free airport transfer. I would recommend any number of those over this venue. For what this hotel presumes to charge, it really is not worth it.
