Nice hotel, can improve breakfastPosted Jul 20, 2014
I had a nice stay. Hotel is beautiful, staff are friendly. The only thing I can say that had a negative impact on me was my breakfast experience. They were very disorganized with breakfast, I waited 20 minutes for a croissant with butter. They were very rude to an elderly couple sitting next to me because they they did not present their breakfast voucher before they ordered. But otherwise the room was comfortable.

Not at Terminal 5Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Room, restaurant, staff.
Cons: Remove the moniker "Terminal 5" from the hotel advertising as it is misleading even if you do qualify it later by saying it's only a mile away from T5
Location: It is a 15 minute bus ride, if there is no traffic (more like 30 minutes in rush hour), from T5.
This hotel deserves the moniker "Terminal 5" no more than many of the other hotels around Heathrow. In fact there is a Travel Lodge, a Thistle and a Premier Inn all closer to T5 than the Hilton "Terminal 5" hotel. It takes, without traffic, 15 minutes in a bus which you have to pay for to get to Terminal 5. Hence in my view the name Hilton Terminal 5 is misleading. The hotel in itself is nice enough, good restaurant, rooms and staff but if you are looking to stay at a hotel at Terminal 5 then you need to look at the Sofitel. And if you need an hotel within 15 minutes of Terminal 5 then there are many other, less expensive options that offer no less convenience of access.

Very Good Hotel near HeathrowPosted Jul 15, 2014
Cons: Would help to extend the pool timing till 10 Pm instead of 8 PM.
Location: Nothing nearby where you can walk to.
Very happy and satisfied with our three night stay. Sauna, whirlpool, steam room, pool all very soothing for us and helped us relax. Hotel restaurant, bar, and barista very good.

Great hotelPosted Jul 14, 2014
Very large, comfortable room with free wifi. Hotel had 2 restaurants and some good pubs nearby. It also had a very well equipped gym and large whirlpool spa. Best of all you could not hear the many planes that were taking off and landing at Heathrow which was vey close. This was a great find close to the airport.

Hotel that deliberately misleads by its namePosted Jul 10, 2014
Cons: Transport to and from airport.
Location: Absolutely nothing within walking distance.
This hotel advertises itself as the Hilton at Terminal Five which leads a potential customer to think that it is actually at Terminal Five and not in fact 10 minutes away in Slough. The only way to get there is by bus or taxi. The taxi is an exorbitant price and the bus is 5 pounds one way or 9 pounds return which is more than an all day pass for zones 1 to 6 on the London Underground.

Nice clean hotelPosted Jul 9, 2014
This hotel was a pleasant surprise; clean and comfortable after a long flight. Pros: very clean and the executive lounge was nice for drinks and snacks. Cons: the shuttle to Heathrow (Hoppa Bus) while convenient, was very expensive. As well, the cost of phone calls was outrageously expensive. Overall however, a nice hotel for a quick stopover in London.

The internet was only intermittent in my room. I wanted to eat at the Indian restaurant and they told me to come back later. For the breakfast buffet, I was brought a jug of coffee but no cup and no milk. I booked a spa treatment and they lost the reservation. All in all, I would not go back there again.

The food was a pleasant but unexpected experience. Great hotel convenient to Heathrow, very modern, clean, and well kept. Definitely would stay again.

Not really Terminal 5 but excellent restaurantPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The restaurant.
Cons: I can't think of anything it's an excellent airport hotel. There are very few of them around the world. I'd stay there even if I wasn't flying.
Location: Off airport and not easy to find but worth the effort. You can take a flight from Heathrow airport.
One night stay, excellent facilities but what makes it a real treat is the Indian restaurant- fabulous. Worth staying for that alone we have stayed here before and it's the food that makes us come back rather than use closer hotels.
