Good hotel and locationPosted Sep 10, 2014
Really enjoyed my stay. Room was of a high standard and the location of the hotel good in relation to tube station, restaurants, bars and shops. Would definately stay again. Never had breakfast or ate in the hotel so unable to comment on this aspect.

Hotel in trendy IslingtonPosted Sep 9, 2014
Down in London for my birthday. We had stayed in the hilton Islington years ago and decided to give it another go. Hotel has had an upgrade, very nice. We got an upgraded room to a superior room. It was gorgeous! Bed was SOO comfy, nice bar with wine & water and bathroom was fab! View was onto a building site though! Staff were lovely! Although my husband was ironing his jeans one morning when 2 staff barged in room as steam from iron had set off dectectors in our room! I was in the shower and them they kept asking if we smoked!!! They did apologise though! Overall a great base for exploring London & lots of lovely bars & restaurants in Islington!

Wonderful hotel in Angel/IslingtonPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location, comfortable rooms
Cons: Rooms are on the small size - but that's London...
Location: Right by Upper St, in the heart of Angel - countless great restaurants and bars at your doorstep! Angel Tube station is a 5-minute walk away.
Recently renovated Hilton, comfortable and modern rooms (great bed and bathroom), great location in Angel right by Upper Street (many restaurants and bars) and minutes from the Angel Tube station. Free wifi throughout the hotel. My hotel of choice whenever in London.

Modern,clean and comfortable hotelPosted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Location, comfort, very clean with very good room amenities. Staff helpful, friendly and accommodating (early check-in, leaving luggage on departure)
Cons: Can't think of anything!
Location: Close to tube, good access to central London. Lots of restaurants/cafes etc. Camden Passage antiques market across the road.
Recently stayed here for a 4 night sight-seeing break in London. Hotel is in a really good location and although it may seem a little out of the way we found it to be very convenient with a very short walk (2-3 minutes) to Angel tube station on the Northern line which provides easy access to central London and directly links with Euston/Kings Cross/St. Pancras stations and other tube stations/lines. The hotel was easy to return to due to it's location after a days sight-seeing before going out for the evening. Would recommend an Oyster card to use on the tube and buses, we used one each and spent around £25 each for a five full day stay, great value as we used the tube a lot! Hotel is very comfortable and clean. We had a twin room which was spacious, with plenty of hanging space/drawers, hairdryer, ironing equipment, air conditioning, tea/coffee, safe, fridge and a great shower. Staff were friendly and helpful.Unable to comment on the food as we didn't eat there at all, we tended to eat wherever we were on that day. Hotel is located just off Upper Street, which provides many restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, general shops etc. Arrived very early for check-in, hoping just to be able to drop off luggage but were able to check in right away at about 9.30 a.m! We were also able to leave luggage in hotel after check-out so that we could make the most of another day in London before our sleeper trip overnight back home. A great hotel, will definitely return when we get the chance!

Islington HiltonPosted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Location and standard of accommodation
Cons: In-room information booklet could include more details
Location: London is on your doorstep - I can't describe that in so few characters! Get a guide book!!
I needed to stay somewhere close to the Business Design Centre - this was the recommended hotel and couldn't have been closer. It made a two day event much easier to manage as there was a travel time of less than 1 minute to the venue - important at the end of two very busy days. Efficient, friendly and courteous staff, clean and comfortable surroundings - plenty of options for eating within minutes of the hotel and easy to travel into central London if you want to see the sights.

Good position for access to central LondonPosted Aug 30, 2014
Cons: Leisure facilities
Location: one stop to Kins Cross then all of London Zone 1 accessible
No problems anywhere in the hotel except the room cleaning staff which were at best indifferent and though the rooms were cleaned ok their attitude stank.

Great customer service!!Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: It was centrally located with lovely rooms, nice restaurant and wonderful staff.
Location: It was centrally located, close to Underground and bus stops.
We were booked into a very comfortable room but the tv didn't work. The manager came & tried to fix it but was not succesful. Within a few minutes he called us and said they were upgrading our room. We were moved to a larger room on a higher floor that was lovely. We had arrived during a heavy rainstorm and I'm sure looked like drowned rats but the staff was so courteous. They loaned us an umbrella when we went out to the theatre and called a taxi for us as well. They were sure to inquire how everything was and hoped we enjoyed our stay.
