    “Lovely London Neighborhood”

The hotel was in a perfect location for using the bus or tube to visit tourist sights or just walking in the neighborhood to wonderful restaurants. The breakfast buffet and service was superb. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

“Good Choice for our 4 days in London before our cruise”

We were given a standard double after checking in and discovered it hadn't been cleaned. We notified the front desk and was given an upgraded room shortly thereafter. That room was better decorated and on a higher floor. There is no view except the roof and roofs of distant townhouses. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Room allowed access to first floor executive lounge. Free Internet in the lounge and continental breakfast. We already paid for full breakfast which was better. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was very good. It was a buffet with hot and cold items. It sustained us for long hours of touring. The hotel was convenient to transportation. We took the underground from Shepard's Bush station and used the bus as well to get to central London to see tourist sites. We loved the closeby Westfield Mall for the restaurants and Waitrose grocery store. Ask the hotel concierge for bus and city maps. They are very handy to get around town.

    Getting there
We were packed for cruising for 12 days so we didn't want to use public transit. We hired a car service, Addison Lee which was efficient to arrange but they arrive too early so as it results in additional charges. Immigration took long time as there weren't enough agents to process passengers. I like the hotel but it's not that convenient from Heathrow if you have large bags. Our friends used the underground but had to transfer and haul luggage up stairs. My husband didn't want to risk strained muscles so we hired car service. I will stay near Paddington Station if we have large bags again.

    “Well located”

The hotel is about 30 minutes (by bus) from the ctiy center. The staff was excellent, since the very beggining until the last day. They paid attention of every detail and responded very fast in case of any inquiry . The room was big enough (double twin), extremenly comfortable beds with soft linens, space in the closet, coffee maker (which is very important for me). Also, the bathroom was comfortable with soap and other goods by Crabtree and Evelyn. we choose the breakfast included offer and it is my best recomendation. You have plenty of food from different parts of the world, including american breakfast. It really worth it , given the fact that (in our case) we were going to be out in the city until late, and london is not a cheap city. The best thing above all: 2 buses which run 24 hours have their stop in front of the hotel and they are number 94 if you want to go to Picadilly Circus and bus number 148 if you want to go exactly to the Buckingham area. it is that simple. Make sure to buy your day travel card which cost 6.20 pounds and you can use it all day long , in the tube and in the buses.

    Area recommendations
The area where the hotel is located is a quite and nice area. The next neigbhorhood is Notting Hill which also is a very nice place. Also, Hyde park and Kensington gardens area are near . The city center it is just like any other city center, full of traffic and full of people but also with a certain enchantment. It took me 2 days to understand and to start to like London, but at the end I fell in love with this exceptional and beautiful city and I want to go back. We spent 6 days.
    Getting around
The best way to know London is on bus or by the tube (the subway). London has an excellent transportation system which looks difficult in the beggining, but once you get it , it is the best way get around. It is a very croweded city, but the buses have their own lane. A one day card cost 6.20 pounds and you can use it in trains and buses. Always look after the zone you are, since the city is divided by zones (from 1-6)

    “Very comfortable after long trip”

My wife and I ended our honeymoon at this hotel and were very impressed with the level of comfort and spaciousness of our room compared to all the other places we stayed at in Europe. The included buffet breakfast was also top notch as well as the restaurant. For the price, it was simply a great deal.

    “Avoid this hotel!”

This hotel is overpriced and has really tiny rooms. The bed takes almaost all the space in the room and there is barely enogh space to move, let alone open your bags. Don't stay here unless you absolutely have to. This hotel does not deserve a 4 star or hilton brand.

    “"Not Impressed"”

I paid for a double bed, and I specified " 2 Beds". At the Front Desk the clerk try to force to accept 1 twind bed room. The argument was that the reservation was for twin bed room. After as they see me in a inflexible position they "find a 2 beds room?? Not a nice welcome to a hotel.

“Way too Pricey for Value given”

I'd give this hotel a B : average decent digs for too high a price & then also pay more for every twitch. Staff was fine - eagerly helpful. At several hundred dollars a night in Shepherd's Bush (nrly 1/2 hr to central London by Tube), the price is too high for the comforts. Room was average size. *Did not have free WiFi - what they offered in the business room downstairs was pricey. *Above all -- did not have in-room Refrigerator. Instead a minibar that felt even more like a trap than most of them -- i.e., when I tried to squeeze my own beer in, the hyper-sensitive computer charged my bill for what I dislodged. They immediately took it off, but it felt they were trying to squeeze even more money out of you rather than providing customer's comfort. Who needs the hassle? (That was the general feeling about the place.) Their price should have included free breakfast as do most English hotels, but again they wanted an arm or a leg for that. Neighborhood was very nice, both lovely streets & shops.
