Nice hotel, good location

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Location and car park on site
Cons: Soundproofing rooms, I could here next door having a 'debate'.
Location: Excellent location for Westfield Shopping centre, 3 mins walk, and a 10 minute walk to Olympia (Ideal home show)
Had a brilliant weekend at the Hilton, clean, friendly and good location

Not recommendable for a Hilton Hotel

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: That it is close to a tube station, the Westfield shopping centre and Kensington.
Cons: Advise your staff not to bang the doors and maybe have the windows and the carpets cleaned.
Location: It's in Holland Park Avenue close to Shepards Bush tube station and Westfield shopping centre. You can walk to Notting Hill or Kensington High Street.
My first room was more like a boxroom and rather shabby and not clean. After I had talked to the nice receptionist ( his English was hard to understand) I got another room, facing the street and a temporary building site. Opposite of my room was a storage room for the staff. Unfortunately they banged the doors going in and out even in the night time.

Nice hotel but small room that needed an upgrade.

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was well organised and very good
Cons: Some rooms need an upgrade
Location: Westfield and Shepherds Bush. Not far from Portabella Road Market
Had a small room that needed some TLC. The bathroom door was a sliding wooden door and was a real nuisance and the wire tray in the shower was hanging off the wall. Bed was comfy and large TV. Area was very nice.

Bucket List trip to London

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff in the executive lounge and at the check in desk, clean room,
Cons: am a gold level HH and eligible for a room upgrade that included breakfast .could have saved money by not getting a room that included breakfast.
Location: Close to an underground. Walking distance to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, Princess Diana Memorial fountain, Marble Arch to name a few
Our Hotel was close to an Underground which allowed access to all the attractions we wanted to see. I suggest you get a underground pass which made riding subway easy. The people of London were friendly and helpful when they noticed we had our map out. Didn't have to ask, they just walked up to help! There were various types of restaurants near each attraction.

Convenient for a one night stay

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: It was a bed for the night, so it served its purpose.
Cons: The service from the concierge, unfortunately I can't remember his name. Everything felt like a chore to him when asked to store our bags.
Location: Close to Holland Park, Kensington, Notting Hill and Shepherds Bush - Westfield shopping centre.
We were only staying one night with a late check in so (local to London, in-between travel) only really able to comment on a few things. The size of the meals for room service (dinner) was ridiculous, and there so overpriced. Check in was pleasant and we did the express checkout envelope which was easy. For the Hilton Chain it is certainly one of their more tired Hotels and you just expect more. Our room whilst only the small double, was adequate but with stains on the carpet, the furnishings are old and worn (light fittings etc) it could certainly do with a refurb.

Immer weniger

Posted Mar 22, 2015

Waardeloos

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Small room, poor view, room was at the end of the corridor and I had to walk quite a distance from lift to room. Also no internet, breakfast or even the water was not complimentary... I didn't enjoy it and I won't come again, ever. Only positive part was the receptionist who did her best to ease my pain.

Mediocre

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Iron, ironing board and hair dryer all present.
Location: Across the road from Westfield, so great place for shopping.
Arrived at the hotel and location is great, right near shepherd's bush, however the room we were given had the noisiest bed EVER! We asked for this to be rectified, so some hanydmen came but we ended up being moved rooms. The next room at least had a decent bed, however the view was lack lustre, and the TV was tempremental! Did not have time to be waiting around as we had a show to get to, so just put up with it. Overall, an ok hotel, but disappointing from a Hilton, nothing special.
