Huge room, huge bathroomPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: room size, comfort
Cons: free internet access in room
Location: Lots of great middle-eastern restaurants near by. Try Faroush. Walking distance (w/o bags) to Paddington station
London is the city of tiny hotel rooms.. after trying to stay in one of those "3 star" hotels for several days, we got fed up and moved to the Hilton Metropole in "Lil Arabia". Fantastic room in West Wing - 12th floor (but no view, sorry - facing another tall office building). Two queen size beds, and a real bathroom. We ate elsewhere, and the charge for internet was way too high ($20/day), so we skipped it, but this was a very comfortable place to stay well served by both the underground and bus lines.

Perfect for central LondonPosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Great hotel perfect for Central London. Only a few minutes from Paddington Station and Edgware Road Tube Stations
Cons: Windows need replacing in the Tower.
Great hotel perfect for Central London. Only a few minutes from Paddington Station and Edgware Road Tube Stations. Nice area with plenty of shops. Hotel staff were very pleasant and eager to please. We stayed in the Tower, though the rooms are lovely, the windows are in desperate need to replacement as they don't close properly which was unfortunate as I was staying during one of the UKs worst storms and rain and wind gained easy access to the room.

Some good points but oldPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: The staff, the location
Cons: The design, furniture of the room, refresh the bathroom, refresh the room and fully refresh the Executive lounge
Location: Good location, quiet, very close to a tube station
This hotel is well located, only few seconds from a tube station, we can reach very quickly Victoria. The staff is very nice. But the hotel is very old, the bathroom is enough old to not be very clean. The executive lounge is also very old and quite small, then very quickly busy.

London break with 2 kidsPosted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: The check in service was a little slow and could have done with extra desks being opened
Location: 10 mins on a bus to oxford street, marble arch and park lane.
Hotel was very busy but all staff were attentive. Room was very comfortable with the 3 single beds. Good location for seeing london sights as buses on edgware road were very convenient as was the tube station.

Nice Hotel in centre of LondonPosted Feb 21, 2014
Location: Very close to underground station-Edgeware Road. 10mins walk to Hyde Park
had a good 4 nights spent here. one of the beds in out room made an awful noise when anyone moved and the hotel staff moved us for our remaining stay without any hassle. They were very accommodating, the staff were all lovely.

Lacking everything but location!Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: The location and access to tube and buses.
Cons: Decor, staff knowledge, cleanliness.
Location: Lots of food choices, 5-10 bus ride from most major shopping and attractions.
This hotel is centrally located to all main London shopping and attractions. Other than that it is over priced. The pool is small and not very clean and the staff is never on the same page. If you ask three members of staff a question you will receive three very different answers. For the cost of the room amenities were sparse. Both wifi and cable cost extra and a few drinks will quickly add up to the cost of the room. The bathroom had peeling paint and visibly patched holes and the heat did not seem to work well in the room. Also, was quoted two different rates for breakfast.

Very dissapointing for a 4 star hotel!Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: The location was good and the view of the city was nice.
Cons: Customer service, cleanliness, staff knowledge of pricing and policy, heating in the rooms
Location: Located right next to Edgeware Rd tube station. There are multiple cafés outside and Picadilly and Oxford are a five minute bus ride away.
First off this hotel is in a pretty good location. There are bus stops and a tube station within a block from the entrance and plenty of cafés and grocery stores right outside. That being said, these are the best qualities this four star has to offer. After reserving a room for two adults and two teenage children, the lady at the desk offered us a room with a single, queen and sofa. The sofa turned out to be a chair with ottoman and the room was so small that it was immpossible to wheel a small suitcase past the entrance. The bathroom had peeling paint and no fan or window. This room was located in the tower. After talking to the reception desk and explaining that our two teenagers would not fit in a single we were relocated to the west wing and given a room with two queens. This room was much nicer although it stayed pretty chilly. The pool was not very clean and although it was advertised in their guest services book and online the sauna and steam room were not seperate but actually one thing, just a steam room. Upon checking in we were offered a special rate for the breakfast buffet and told that our children would be free due to their ages. When we went to pay for the breakfast a couple hours later we were told that we would be charged for all four of us because the age was actually two years younger than we were told at first. Twice during our stay we had to go to reception and reactivated our keys because they wouldn't work. I do not recommend for the cost
