"I DIDN*T GET WHAT I HAD PAID FOR"
HOWEVER... I BOOKED A LUXURY KING FULL RIVER VIEW AND WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WHEN LOOKING OUT OF THE WINDOW TO SEE THE VIEW BLOCKED BY LARGE BROAD LEAVED TREES ...THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE WERE OBVIOUSLY TAKEN IN THE WINTER WITH NO LEAVES ON THE TREES.....I HAD PAID A LOT OF EXTRA MONEY TO HAVE A FULL RIVER VIEW.... IT WAS A SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY TREAT FOR MY HUBBY AND I HAD WANTED IT TO HAVE THE WOW FACTOR..I COULD HAVE CRIED. THE HOTEL GAVE US £100 TO SPEND AT DINNER WITH THE PROMISE THAT IF WE CAME TO STAY AGAIN THEY WOULD UPGRADE US(subject to availability!) BUT THE MOMENT WAS SPOILT.......SHAME ON YOU SAVOY HOTEL!

"Good central London hotel"
Stayed here with kids to go to a Prom. Overall a very convenient, well priced hotel with good facilities. What let it down were the staff, or more specifically many of the younger women, who seemed to have no idea that in a hotel you are supposed to keep the customers happy rather than view them as an irritation. This wasn't universal, and some of the older/more experienced staff (both men and women) were very helpful, but the good looking, young, metro-European women had no idea. It took an absolute age to check in, the roll-out bed wasn't made up until we chased three times, simple requests took ages. If they got better trained staff this would be a 5*

"Great weekend break "
Great location - short walk to Marylebone, Madame Tussauds, Regents Park, Shopping and restaurants. I took my 10 year old daughter for a weekend break and we had a great time. Slight issue with room when we arrived was sorted quickly and without fuss and we were happy with the room we were given. Staff were helpful and friendly. Menu looked nice and fixed option was good value but there was no childrens option on offer and this meant we ate out. I think this is an opportunity to improve for the hotel but otherwise I have no complaints and it would be my first port of call when we visit again. Hopefully I may even get to try the treatment rooms! I would recommend.

"A classy hotel, close to Waterloo and Westminster "
Our room was very good but it was a bit depressing not being able to see the sky. If I stayed there again I'd pay for a room that had some outside view. The restaurant was not at all well organised. We went there twice, the second time because we were too tired to go elsewhere. The service staff tried hard but appeared to be inexperienced. The main course appeared far too quickly, before the starter was finished. Other diners had the same experience. We found a nearby restaurant with far better food and service.

"Comfortable hotel in city location"
We were upgraded to a room with a balcony giving stunning views of the City including St Pauls. Check-in was slow and staff did not fully explain how to use the lift. The cups and milk were stored in an unexpected location away from the coffee making machine.

"Comfortable, close to St Paul's"
Great hotel - clean, comfortable and conveniently located about a five minute walk from Monument station, which is on the lines that get you to popular attractions like Buckingham and Parliament. It's a fifteen minute walk to St Paul's Cathedral and a 40 minute walk to Parliament (a few stops up on the tube). Helpful staff. A yummy pub (Crosse Keyes) is just next store. Keep in mind that on the weekends, many shops in the area are closed or have limited hours. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

"Good hostel, but noisy on weekends."
Good sized room and bathrooms/showers were good. Nice hostel and love the free breakfast. I liked the location, which was right next to the DLR station. Was noisy on weekends and karaoke nights since it was directly above the bar.
