Brentford Inn LockPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Location and view Had a very good peaceful sleep
Cons: To remind people staying there that you now need an Oyster card to get on the bus To add some ales to the bar at the hotel
Location: Good location with views of the lock if you are lucky to get a room on that side. There is a local pub near the hotel called The Brewery Tap.
We had a great night stay which was in a good location and not too far away from Kew gardens. Breakfast was very good especially the choice we were offered. I am pleased we got a reduced rate as I wouldn't want to pay the full price.

Great CompromisePosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.
Cons: Can't think of anything important.
Due to Wimbledon, we couldn't find a hotel in London. When I found HI Brentford Lock about half way between LHR and downtown, I figured it was a good solution. It was. We arrived at 8:30 am exhausted from our overnight flight and the staff went right to work - a delicious breakfast in the hotel, readied a room right away and encouraged a short nap before we headed to London. Within easy walking distance to the train, we spent several days touring this beautiful city always coming back to a restful hotel. Plenty of pubs nearby were perfect for a late night snack too. Comfy beds too.

Weekend GetawayPosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, pillows
Cons: It was a bit warm in the room.
Location: Good access into London.
My husband and I spent a night at the Holiday Inn Brentford Lock as part of a quick trip to London. The hotel was clean and tidy, the shower good and the breakfast tasty. Although it is not near a tube station you can get a bus to a variety of tube lines. Great for access to M4 and the West.

We were surprised by significant extra charges such that this hotel is not good value. Also it is not near the airport

Short break LondonPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: clean and comfortable, good location
Cons: would be nice if parking was free as this is not central london
Location: Near to Kew and Richmond for walks etc and easy to get into London
We stayed for one night whilst visiting our son in central London. The hotel was easy to get to and had secure onsite parking(under hotel).unfortunately there is a charge for it. Train station short 10 minute walk and plenty of direct trains into central London. Room was clean and comfortable and wifi available . Bar was clean, modern ,comfortable and open view of the canal/lock. would stay again.

Great place to stay, would do it againPosted May 6, 2014
Pros: Clean and modern
Location: Pubs all in the area, laundry facilities nearby, park for kids to play close by
Great hotel with friendly staff. Check in and out was very simple and the wait staff in the restaurant were very kind. Hotel was clean and modern, free wifi in the lobby with comfy chairs to sit on. Parks, pubs and laundry close by too. Will stay here again next time we're in Brentford.

Nice and pleasantPosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Friendly, clean, well organised. Breakfast was good value with lots of choice
Cons: Car park charge was £12 a night which is a little expensive. I would improve the menu in the restaurant in the evening
We only stayed one night but would stay again. Our 2 children stayed and ate for free making this very affordable. We pre booked our breakfast which was a bargain at £10 for us both! However, we were disappointed about the cost of the restaurant for our evening meal, and even though the children ate free it was still over priced for the portion sizes and choices. Children's menu was limited and I would have been extremely disappointed to have paid £4.95 for the pizza and chips that my son was served.
