Clean, quiet and convenientPosted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location!
Location: O2, Westfield shopping centre
Great location for Westfield and overnight stay after concert at the O2. Clean, comfortable and quiet, a rare thing in a budget hotel!

the hotel generally considered goodPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: generally a good hotel.
Cons: room heating system, can be improved so as to provide the desired comfort.restaurant seating arrangement can be made more comfortable.
Location: easy to transport. There are large shopping center nearby.
room heating systems do not provide the desired comfort. Hand and bath soap in the shower for the same type of fluid used. restaurant portion is arranged cramped.

Nice short stayPosted Nov 10, 2013
This is a small hotel with basic amenities and a decent breakfast buffet. It is quite close to Westfield Stratford (less than 10 mins walk) and was the reason for which my gf and I decided to spend the weekend there. I thought the personnel was very helpful and even offered to charge my I-Phone using on the staff chargers... The room was clean, nice bed and lots of different pillows. Overall a bit pricey for what it is but it is probably because of the location factor.

Really Poor BreakfastPosted Nov 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were quite satisfied with the general condition and cleanliness of the rooms, particularly the large shower cubicle. However, we were looking forward to the inclusive breakfast only to be massively disappointed to find rubbery scrambled egg (they forgot to scramble it), cold beans and sausages. For a proper English breakfast we would have expected more (e.g. mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, vegetarian sausages please! etc.) Toast you have to stand and toast yourself (and even then it didn't really toast), Orange juice that tasted like bitter grapefruit and horrible machine coffee. Nice croissants though! All shared in a giant canteen style room with high tables and low chairs meaning you had to scoop the food off your plate. Also 20 quid to park your car overnight was a nasty sting. I will certainly be avoiding any Holiday Inn Express in future. "Express" translates as cheap and nasty.

Breakfast is only for the bravePosted Nov 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is basic, as one might expect, but the breakfast was beyond a joke. Insufficient seating, insufficient quantities of food and not even enough mugs for everyone to have a coffee. What made it worse was the fact that no one checked whether I had paid for breakfast or not, which I had. I might as well have gone room only and then joined the scavenge hunt with the rest if the "guests".

Very comfortable roomPosted Oct 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The standard double room was large with comfy bed as well as sofa and desk. Breakfast of medium quality but plentiful, free access (no room number check), and I saw some people bringing a full tray to their rooms. Smoking area with bench at the back in the outdoor parking. Friendly staff for the most part. Great WiFi. Immediate area has off-licences and Tesco Express, dry-cleaner, great Thai restaurant (evenings only, looks shabby from the outside but outstanding food and ubber-friendly staff). Choice of a short walk or buses to the Stratford tube with great connections to Central London; where there is also a huge new mall, Westfield. Cheap room rates in London for comfortable quality stay. Recommended.

Nice hotel with friendly staffPosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Clean and friendly. Not far from public transport network - Stratford and Stratford High street.
Cons: A sign, or person, directing customers as to where breakfast can be found would be helpful as the area is rather hidden.
Arrived after busy and tiresome day. Staff very friendly and helpful. Meal in hotel was adequate and tasty for the price, though would have liked room-service which is not available. The room was comfortable and clean with temperature easily adjustable. The shower was good and most welcome and base non-slippy. In the morning, the 'free' breakfast was ample with a few choices, though items were a bit basic. Check-out was very simple and quick and the receptionist arranged minicab with a smile. All in all a good mid-range hotel.
