If you don't want the pool, it's a good option!Posted Feb 2, 2014
Excellent room conditions, price affordable but not cheap (maybe I expected more for a 3 stars hotel), it could be better to ask if there will be a junior hochey team in the hotel before booking! (Noisy and overcrowded facilities). Many options in the breakfast buffet and easy to locate. Finally, air conditioner a little noisy.

Christmas at the homewoodPosted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: clean, friendly staff
I was in town and hosting our family Christmas, thought this hotel would be perfect, as Hilton does it right. I was disappointed that there was not a real stove with an oven thank goodness the ham I bought had already been cooked. I just warmed it up in the microwave

Amazing Hotel (but bring your own food!)Posted Jan 4, 2014
Pros: I loved the staff and their dedication to making guests feel comfortable!
Cons: The FOOD! Even at breakfast, the eggs lacked flavor, the bacon was overcooked and basically shattered when you tried to pick it up!
Location: It's right by the 401 highway and there are plenty of familiar restaurants as well as a mall nearby. It's only a few mins drive from downtown London.
I loved the hotel, the staff was amazing but the food is the main reason why I’m writing this review. A free dinner is served between 5pm and 7pm from Mon-Thurs. Our 1st night, there were these cardboard dishes with 3 lines of puree in them. We couldn’t find the chicken anywhere… I tasted the pureed carrots and it was like baby food, I tried the white line of paste and it was gluey mashed potatoes and the brownish line WAS the chicken! I wouldn’t have served my cats this chicken paste! Thankfully they have iceberg lettuce, fresh cut veggies and grated cheese with which to make a little salad each night. There had been a mix up with the food so they put out salmon but it wasn’t much better! The salmon was breaded with a weird green and red breading that turned the already near-inedible fish into a salt lick. They didn’t serve dinner on New Year’s Day so we were saved 1 day but I was annoyed that this wasn’t listed on Expedia when we paid for our stay. The other 2 dinners were an evening of uncooked chicken and deli meats to make our own sandwiches. It was hard to mess that up! Even the little macaroni salad on the side was passable! Whew, finally a meal that didn’t give us dysentery! Lol! The breakfasts were a little better. The crowning glory was the do-it-yourself waffle maker. Delicious! There was choc. chips, cinnamon and syrup and even strawberry preserves for those who liked to pretend they were eating healthy waffles!

Almost perfectPosted Dec 30, 2013
Great room, well appointed suite with everything you could ask for if you were staying a night or a week. The only downfall was that the room looked like it could use a little up keep and a thorough cleaning. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay and I would stay there again.

Fantastic pit stop in bad weather.Posted Dec 22, 2013
We stopped by on our way to Toronto because of bad weather. The hotel staff was extremely helpful (they lent us scotch tape to wrap presents), helped with extra sheets for the kids bed in the middle of night, cooked up a wonderful breakfast. A totally refreshing and relaxing stay.

Night out for mom & dad!Posted Dec 21, 2013
Just wanted to extend our dinner date so I surprised my husband with a hotel stay. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub & the room was very nice as well. Breakfast was included...good variety.

Convenient to Hwy 401Posted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Pleasant stay, and our first time in a suite. Very convenient, especially now that we travel with an infant and travelling is now akin to mobilizing an army. Front desk staff were wonderful about allowing us to check-in early and provided a crib as requested. The breakfast was enjoyable also. The only thing I'd suggest is that guests bring earplugs. The walls are quite thin, and at night we heard some some sounds from a neighbouring bathroom that we'd rather not have.

Good HotelPosted Nov 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a great hotel but it was a bit noisy not the hotels fault, hockey tournament. Luckily I was in a smoking room so a bit distanced from the children. But there was some noise from them going up and down the stairs, again not the hotels issue, it was their parents fault. Room was nice, spacious clean fantastic customer service but I found it a bit too expensive for London ON. It could have been a result of the hockey tournament, a result of supply and demand. But I do like this chain of hotels and Hilton does have amazing staff!
