Not to standardPosted Dec 10, 2013
Pros: The room was excellent.
Cons: Room needs to be refurbished, as it shows sign of wear.
Location: Location is close to Harrods and restaurants.
Hotel staff cold and unfriendly. In bar and restaurant they gave the impression they did not want to serve you.

Excellent staffPosted Nov 29, 2013
Pros: The staff
Cons: Sound isolation.
The hotel is extremely well located, close to multiple London attractions. Although the rooms are small, they are designed efficiently and one does not notice the smallness after a while. They offered superb gym and pool facilities at a sister hotel one block away. The most outstanding feature was the helpfulness of the staff, who took care of any minor problem immediately and was always helpful

Great Location, Good HotelPosted Nov 27, 2013
Pros: Location. Great Bed.
Cons: Air Conditioning. Even on a cold day the room became unbearably warm with the air conditionig at the minimum. No fresh air, windows do not open.
Location: Knightbridge. Harrods And everything else you want.
Well appointed room, a bit smallish but OK by London standards. Small but functional bathroom, good toiletries.

A true home away from home!Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: A boutique hotel in a great neighborhood!
We lived around the corner from The Jumeirah Lowndes hotel for over five years and always enjoyed the friendliness/hospitality of the employees when we walked by or used the hotel restaurants. We moved out of London and stayed at the hotel last week for the first time back - it is truly a home away from home! They have a sister hotel across the street which is much larger but the Lowndes being on a smaller scale is much more intimate. We used the sister hotel for Health Club and Business Center but it was really a treat to be in a small "boutique" hotel close to Starbucks, Mahew Newsagent, Waitrose, etc.

excellent locationPosted Sep 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very comfortabe room- not very large, but good bed and with all the amenities one would expect. My only criticism is that it was too warm overnight and adjusting the temperature control in the room didn’t seem to have any effect. Excellent location, close to underground station , Hyde Park and lovely shops.

Decent hotel for a short business stayPosted Sep 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
A short walk from Sloane Street, Knightsbridge and Hide Park, the hotel is conveniently located for shopping, relaxation and business, should your meetings be around the West End or in Mayfair. The rooms are however rather small for the high prices the hotel charges (this goes for the executive room as well the executive suite), rather noisy from the lack of insulation and the hotel staff everyday tasks. The most annoying of all has to be the 2 elevators stopping at every other floor to accommodate the cleaning staff, the room service and so on for lack of dedicated service lift... The breakfast is most average and blend of any 5 star Hotel I have stayed at. Again the location makes this hotel, not the offering.
